Chapter 29

Until we meet again

You scrunch up your face as you feel someone poking your cheek, "hey... mistress". The poker persisted as you finally began to open your dreamy eyes, yawning in the early morning as you stretched out on the bed.

"Its a little early Ban" you reach up towards him and he pulls you into a warm hug, your fingers feel sore from a lack of movement and your back ached.

"I'm leaving today, for the Fairy King's Forest" the sin replied lazily. He squeezed your back a little before he let go. You held yourself up on one arm, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.

"How come?"

"I have to see Elaine"

"You miss her?" You yawned and he chuckled.

"Yes, I do"

You smile at him, nodding a little, "well, since there's no convincing you otherwise" you held your hands up to his cheeks, "I wish you all the best, I'll visit you in your dreams to make sure your ok".

He seemed a little flustered at the feeling of your soft hands holding onto his face, pulling his closer to yours.

"Farewell, Ban" you murmured tiredly and pressed your lips to his thin ones.

His words were muffled instantly and you leant back before he could kiss back at all. You stretched your arms up over your head, your wings in a flurry of feathers fanned out over the other side of the bed.

The room was empty apart from you too, you had slept in late after over-exerting yourself healing Arthur's cold. Everyone is probably awake already.

When you set your hands back down in your lap, slouching over a little, he smirked and patted one of your cheeks with his hand, "farewell, angel".

"You're leaving too King?" You were swinging back and forth through the air on the fairy king's Chastiefol, giggling in your new outfit (see picture above).

The brunette boy floated in front of you with a concerning smile stretched over his features, "uh, yeah I need to see the forest again..." He held his hands behind his back, "I wont be gone for that long, I promise".

You crawled up onto your hands and knees and sat down on your knees, the folds of the green pillow fitting nicely around your lower body in its soft fabric, "ok, be safe". You cocked your head to the side, "I'll miss you" your cheeks glazed with a cute pink, "I know Diane will as well".

He kept himself together well, his nose threatening to bleed though he held back the urge. He dipped his head in gratitude, "I'll miss you too".

You seized his wrist and pulled him to you, somehow landing the edge of his lips on yours, you kissed him chastely, then pulled back, "have fun!"

That did it. He fainted and fell backwards to land heavily on the ground with a thud and a groan.

The Princess smiled at you as you took your place standing in front of the castle, beside Merlin and Meliodas. Diane stood to Meliodas' right, and Gowther to Merlin's left. You all stood in front of his majesty the King of Liones, and her highness, Princess Elizabeth.

Behind you, the townspeople were gathered to see what announcement the king was making, all muttering under their breaths.

"(Y/n), Seven Deadly Sins" The King began, you felt a blow of air on the side of your arm and you turned your head to look at the Captain.
