Chapter 8: Tommy's Question Answered

"WHAT!?!? ARE YOU CRAZY I CAN'T DO THAT!!!!!"

"Nikki, it's the only way to save them. Their way to injured to take them to a hospital and even then they won't survive. If there was another way to help them I'd tell you but there's not. This is the only way. I'm sorry." Tom said.

I looked at them lying half-dead on the floor. What am I gonna do? I can't do this, but if I don't they'll die. Then the question Tommy asked me popped into my head 'What if something happened to one of us, Vince, Mick, Myself, or anyone else you loved, where we were about to die and the only way to save us is by turning us into Vampires, would you do it?'. God, help me.

"Alright, what do I need to do?" I asked.

"Well, they've already lost a lot of blood so you probably just need to put the venom in."

"Probably? I thought you knew what to do?"

"I've never had to turn someone before."

"I haven't either!!!! What if it doesn't work?"

"Nikki, you're running out of time here. Look, all I do know is that you have to get their permission before you change them, at least that's what I was told, so ask before it's too late."

"Okay, T-Bone, if can you hear me squeeze my hand. I'm going to try to save you, but the only way I can is if I change you, do I have your permission to do this?" I asked. I felt him squeeze my hand. "Okay. I'm so sorry if this hurts you, T." I said.

I asked Tom to tap me on the shoulder when he thought it was enough venom for me to give them before I bit down. I heard Tommy give a small gasp as I bit down on his neck and injected him with my venom. As soon as Tom taped my shoulder I went to Vince and did the same thing, then to Mick both giving me permission. As soon as I finish Tommy set up screaming in pain flowed by Vince and Mick. I couldn't take it watching them go through that, Hell I barely got through it myself, so I went outside of the room while Tom stayed with them I still can't believe this happened. As I was waiting for Tommy's question popped back into my head again 'If something happened to one of us, and the only way to save us is by turning us into Vampires, would you do it?' Yeah, T, I guess I would. I just hope you can forgive me for what I did.

I waited for almost two hours before Tom came out "They're okay now. I gave them some of my blood and they now want to see you." He said.

"Did they tell you what happened?" I asked.

"No, not yet, they said they wanted to talk to you first."

"Okay."

I walked back into the room and they were sitting on the bed. "Hey guys, how are you feeling?" I asked.

"We're fine," Vince said looking down at the floor.

"Do you remember what happened? Who it was that did this? Did they say anything?" I asked.

"We don't know who it was all we know is someone came in here looking for you and said that they had a message for you, then they attacked us. The bodyguards came in and tried to stop it but they killed them and then went back to attacking us." Vince said.

"One of them punched Vince in the face then knocked him to the ground and kicked him in the stomach before they stabbed him. Another one threw Tommy against the wall repeatedly before they stabbed him. And then the third one hit me upside my head knocking me to the ground and started stabbing me." Mick said.

"One of them said that they were there because you crossed the line with one of their own and now you had to pay for it," Tommy said.

"One of their own? What does that mean? Who are they talking about?" I asked.
