Later that evening after Tom, Crissy, and Marcus got settled into their rooms we all were sitting around the table enjoying dinner and sharing stories.

"You really knew Marie Antoinette?" Randi asked Marcus.

"Oh yes, I did indeed my dear." He replied with a smile. "I was apart of her inner circle."

"Wow! What was she like?"

"Sweetie, I don't think you need to bother Marcus with your millions of questions," I told Randi.

"What? You know next to the Tudor Era the French Revolution is my favorite subject in history. Now I've met someone who went through it first hand so back off and leaves me alone." She said giving me a look that said 'Don't ruin this for me.'

"I'm just saying that Marcus might not be in the mood. He's had a long trip and I'm sure he's tried."

"Oh, God! I didn't think of that. I'm so sorry please forgive me for being rude."

"It's alright my dear, I don't think you were being rude at all," Marcus said. "In fact, I like your eagerness. It's been quite a while since I've met anyone like that."

As Marcus told Randi about his life in the French Court I noticed Carly and Colson getting a little bit friendly with each other. He was running his hand through her hair and they were both smiling at each other. It soon stopped when they noticed me looking at them.

"Umm, sorry. Her hair was caught in her earring." Colson said looking down. "Well, it looks like everyone is done eating how about I help clear the dishes for you, Randi."

"Thank you, Colson, that would be a big help."

"Well, it's been quite a while since I've had human food and I must say that was a very delicious meal," Marcus said.

"Thank you. I hope you all saved room for dessert."

"Oh, I think you're trying to kill me again Randi," Tom said with a laugh. "If it's possible for a Vampire to die from overeating your food will do it because that's how good it is."

"Thanks, Tom."

"Well since you kinda brought it up Tom, may I ask how did you get turned into a Vampire?" Douglas asked.

"Oh. Well, it was back in 1985. We just signed our recording contract with Mercury/Polygram Records and we decided to go out and celebrate. We were all drinking and partying and having fun when I saw this woman looking at me so I go over and we started talking at first but it then turned into something more." He stopped and looked at Crissi as if asking if he should go on with his story in front of her. She smiled and nodded for him to continue. "Anyway, things were getting hot and heavy when she started kissing my neck next thing I knew I felt this sharp pain and I push her off me that's when I saw her mouth was covered in blood. I put my hand to my neck and noticed it was bleeding but before I could even say or do anything she jumped back on me and started to drink me dry. I begged her to stop but she didn't and I could feel myself getting weaker and weaker. I saw my life start to flash before my eyes thinking 'This is it. This is how I die. Everything I worked for, all my dreams finally coming true, just for it to end like this.' Suddenly she stopped. I guess when she saw me she must have realized that she'd gone too far because the next thing I knew she was telling me to drink her blood or I'd die so I did. I don't remember much about the change just that it was painful but when I came to she was gone."

"Do you remember who she was?" Carly asked.

"No. I never saw her again. That's why I'm so set on making sure that whoever we're about to change that it's their choice because I never got one. Don't get me wrong, I love how my life is now but I just wish it was something I could've made instead of having it made for me."
