We all make fun of our queen, Spring Day. Why she never leaves every chart, but deep inside, we know why.
5 years ago, a ferry carrying 476 passengers which mostly among them were highschool students, sank while en-route from Incheon to Jeju. This was the Sewol. Our boys dedicated Spring Day to the victims' families in memorial of their loved ones. Only 75 students survived the tragic disaster, and all of them graduated in 2016.
A father of the victim said, "Without anyone knowing, BTS quietly visited our kids (victims) through their song and video. They delivered their unforgotten hearts. Yae Eun (his daughter who was a victim) would've liked it a lot too.." and he is referring to Spring Day.
It's been 5 years since the Sewol Ferry Tragedy happened and I'm crying right now, knowing the fact that BTS' Spring Day is a tribute song for those student who's in that incident.
Students who have dreams but died.
When the boys released their song, Spring Day and dedicated it to the victims.. my love for them has gotten deeper. Ah, I'm really proud to be an ARMY.
Rest in a peaceful place to all the victims of this tragic disaster, Sewol Ferry Tragedy. All of you will always be remembered.
