So our school's going to have a camping trip for all the clubs and societies and I really, really want to go. This'll probably be my first time ever joining a camping trip as an extra-curricular activity. It's interesting since we'll get to go swimming in the river at the camp and do crazy stuff together.

Each club has to send 4 people to go since we have so many. We'll be going after our school's Teacher's Day celebration for 3 days before midterms. 

I want to join this year because it's my first year as a cadet after moving from a bland society club for almost most of my school life. I like being a cadet since we usually get involved in a lot of activities. Recently we went for a carnival involving all the cadets in the state and we nailed quite a number of the competitions held, most notably in first aid. We won twice in two consecutive years. Last year was my first time in the competition with a few other newbies. We were shocked to know that we won that time considering how young and slightly flimsy our group was.

I'm hoping there's a first aid competition for the camping trip as well. It's a fun yet challenging one as you have to plan out what you and your teammates have to do given the victim's situation. Everyone will be assigned a job and they all have to do it well for the team to succeed.
