"I-" Hesitation. Daniel was hesitating on denying it and that made my heart break even more than it already was.

I put my hand up, causing him to stop trying to claw his way out of the six feet deep while he dug himself. "Please just stop." Following my plea, I get up and go to the door, knowing Daniel would follow me.

I hesitantly opened the door and lowered my head, not wanting to look the boy in the eyes. I didn't have to say anything for him to know what I wanted him to do.

He walked over to me and kissed my forehead that made my heart sink to my stomach as he whispered into my ear. "I love you."
