Limelight POV
I went through Instagram to see if there was anything I had missed from the live I hadn't got to watch. The boys had gone live a yesterday in (where you're from). Unfortunately, I didn't make it on time. Now I was searching through any kind of social media I had for any kind of tea spilled during their live.
Most of the things I found were stories they had posted in the past or edits that fans made, but nothing about the live. I scrolled past a post I had seen about a thousand times. The next post caught my eye.
It was the boys sitting on a couch in a hotel. And they were talking about some girl. The caption of the video read: Who is Daniel's mystery girl? This was definitely some spilled tea. I dug further into this mystery girl. After a while, and even though it was just a day after the live, I found out that they had gone to the movies and McDonalds together.
At around 2:00 a.m, I found a video on insta that was captioned: Is this the girl Daniel talked about? Below that was a video of Daniel with a girl that looked about my age. Why did she look so familiar? I saved the video to later "study" it.
I was up until around 4:00 a.m when I finally remembered why I recognized the girl in the Instagram video. That was Y/n Y/l/n, she went to my class and she was considered the weirdest of our grade. I guess we were sort of friends. She had a few followers in her insta. I didn't get how no one had recognized her apart from me yet. Unless they did and are not talking about it. Which would be the right thing. We weren't about to start some dramatic chain of drama events. Today was Sunday, tomorrow I could ask her some questions (for personal knowledge. I wasn't going to start any drama. I refuse to do that).

The next day I got up without having any of my parents need to wake me. It was a miracle. In fact, my mom looked at me weird and my dad spit out his cereal because he didn't expect me to be up so early.
I got dressed and got my bag ready for school. I made sure all my devices were fully charged and went on my way.
It felt like forever to get to the school doors. But finally, I arrived after the dangerous journey from my doorstep to my class. After putting my stuff in my locker, I made it my mission to find the "mystery" girl, Y/n Y/l/n.
All throughout the morning, I didn't get to talk to her. As we were constantly placed in separate groups or the seat next to her taken. Finally, when it was lunch I sat down next to her before anyone else could. "Hello Y/n," I said.
Y/n looked at me weird. "Hello?"
Well then, there ends our conversation. They should really have a class that shows you how to talk to other humans. "Um, I have a question," Y/n nodded and took a fork full of her lunch.
"Fire away," she says, mouth half full.
"What did you do this weekend?" I ask, trying to slowly pry my way through to the point of all this.
Y/n swallowed and then answered. Although it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear. "I went to the mall with Y/f/n. Why?" she says. I shake my head.
"Nothing," I say and ask her another question. "Did you know that my favorite band is in town this week? I'm gonna go to one of their shows." Her eyes widened in fake interest. I nodded again. "I heard one of them met a girl and that they went on some kind of date on Saturday."
Y/n gulped. "This Saturday?" she asks. "Like the day before yesterday Saturday?" I nodded my head for the third time now. "What's the guy's name?" Y/n suddenly sounded very interested.
I smirked, "Daniel." Her eyebrows shot up and at least it looked like she knew the one and only Giraffe Seavey. "The group's name is Why Don't We."
Y/n dropped her fork. "It must be the most hugest-"
"Hugest isn't a word," I interrupted her.
"Whatever," she said waving her hand at me to be quiet. "It must be the hugest coincidence but I met a guy named Daniel in a band called Why Don't We."
I smiled at her. "I know that we are talking about the same person because I saw a video of you two going to watch a movie with him in Instagram." This time Y/n looked genuinely shocked.
"Can I see?" I showed her the video I had saved the night before. Her eyebrows furrowed together in focus. "Who took this?" she said looking at me.
"I don't know," I say and grab my phone to see. Who posted the thing. "Probably the person who posted it-" I paused to read the name of the person properly. "-@whythefuckdon'twe." (Not a random username. They are an actual account on Instagram. I follow them and they really do post good stuff. Just sayin'.)
Y/n shook her head. "I don't remember this happening. Oh, wait. No, yeah I do remember. There were a few fans at the movies and we stopped to say hi. I saw at least one with their phones out, but I thought they would be filming Daniel. Not me."
"Well, you thought wrong," I say. "You should know that fans are hungry for some kind of drama."
Y/f/n sat down on the other side of Y/n. "What are you two talking about?"
"Nothing," I tell her. "Just how Y/n went out with a boy that is known by thousands of people on Saturday." Y/f/n's eyes widened.
"You never told me he was famous!" she screeched at Y/n.
Y/n rubbed her temples. "Yeah, he's a part of a band," she said. "So?" I looked at her in shock.
"Are you seriously asking why we're freaking out about you dating a celebrity?"
"We're not dating," she stated. "We went out together to the movies and went to eat at McDonalds. Nothing more."
"You know what?" I said, leaning closer to her. "It was my birthday last month and I got two tickets for one of their concerts. Along with a meet and greet. I got two of each in case I wanted to bring a friend." I paused for a moment to see if she got what I was trying to communicate to her. She remained oblivious. I sighed, "I am going to take you with me, whether you like it or not." Y/n rolled her eyes.
"Fine," she says and takes another bite of her food. "When's the concert?"
"It's actually next week," I say.
