It is the basic things that we loose at a very young age that makes us apprehensive people: Respect, valuing the next persons opinion, listening and being able to express ourselves. Some people are never given a platform to express themselves, they are shadowed by the early bloomers.
As the 21st century we lack communicate skills we are unable to talk properly with the next person without lashing out at each other. We need olden life lessons and to work more on our insecurities that hold us back. We are afraid to unleash our potential to the world, cowards to face our inner demons that control the way we express ourselves. We let the world dictate what we do with our own lives.
It takes a life time to come out and tell someone how we really feel as we are petrified of the reaction. We live our lives in fear. It is hard to live with a thought that always puts us back. We end up dying inside and later find ourselves resorting into things that we never thought we could ever do because it seems to be the only solution. Being judged and not being accepted is some of the worst fears we face on a daily basis.
It is sometimes hard following behind wisemans footsteps because to them it seems simple and easy like all it takes is a few steps and your done. How could we voice out ourselves if we were never given a platform to do so?. It's not that we do not want to talk or procrastinating about the matter but what we are used to it. Listening to other's and what they say about you is what comes to mind first. Our opinions never matter because majority rules and we follow suite.
We became followers at a very young age when we became second in line at assembly instead of starting the line ourselves. We do not have power anymore because being powerless takes first place. We have never been exposed to life threatening situation, as someone was always there to shield us; we never leant to stand our own ground, we always needed someone to lean on. Those made us weak and deemed unfit for the people around us. Words and actions from our comfort zones influences our behaviour, how we tackle problems and who we become.
These are the one of the things that make us the so called 'mute' that is afraid and a cowatd to face the world. In some instances ww make mistakes with the wrong the audience watching. They will forget all we have done which was good and will cling onto that one mistake we made. It becomes our worst down fall. They will tease not knowing it leaves a deep a scar that will haunt us till our last breath on earth.
Decomposition is a slow process that wears out organic matter. Self esteem, self confidemce and the purpose of life will slowly decompose leaving a skeleton within our souls. The excitement and joy we once had that allows us to be spontaneous around people dies out. Social gatherings and any emotion associated with it fades away. We become socially awkward.
Silence is always misunderstood. People make up their own stories to satisfy their curiosity yet, the person they are making speculations about is hurting inside. We become a victim of judgements, being pointed fingers at; nobody cares about how we really feel and never cares to ask how we are doing.
It hurts being looked down upon and noboby cares to pay heed to what we have to say, silence is like a python it squeezes the living light out of us. It leaves nothing but a body of a living ghost. We become fearful of whatever walks on two legs. We become cow's following light because it's what draws it's attention in the process we forget our main goal. We are now true victim's of silence it has now taken control of our lives.
Bear in mind that we can save ourselves from this worlds misery, we can change whatever situation we are faced with. Break the silence!! I know it may be hard at first but if we are consistent and make it is our priority to break through we will have freedom.
We may not be able to stop the critisism but we can rebuild ourselves to being us again. Free ourselves from being labelled as outsiders in a world filled with the same people as us. We may be different in race, religion but the same crism red blood runs through our veins. In the end we have similarities.
We should create a platform for ourselves using a full body mirrors. Learn to be our own inspiration. Encourage ourselves to make a difference in our own lives. Do it our own way at our own pace. Learn to forgive ourselves that way we make it easier to move forward with life. Set goals for ourselves and stick to our vision.
