AN: saw someone else do this one and thought it was a great idea. Also sorry about any mistakes. I'm writing on mobile because my computer decided to shit itself.

Josh:
He's a good dad. You only have one kid. Her name is Valentina. He picked it and you knew he would choose something relatively classic, but foreign. She's 7 now. She has his smile and your hair. You see bits of him and bits of you in everything she does. You think she got an even mix of your genes.

She misses him when he's away on tour but he makes the effort to stay in touch and they get to talk almost every day. Sometimes it's skype, sometimes a phone call, sometimes just texts. He, in classic Josh fashion, sends her a letter from every new city they perform in. They always arrive long after they've left that city and sometimes even after he's already home, but she loves them. She has a corkboard in her room where she pins them all.

When Josh is actually home he spends every waking moment with her. Most of that time is spent outdoors. They hike and bike and canoe in the lake. However, her favorite thing to do is swim. He's planning on taking her out to California next summer when he goes to visit Danny and Mackenzie. He says he wants to show her every ocean on the planet and Cali is a good place to start.

Jake:
He had a hard time coming to terms with being a dad. It wasn't planned, it just happened. Once they were born though he would never understand his own hesitancy. You had twin boys. He named one Mason and you named the other Henry. They're 11. What's really strange is that although they have your ears, they look more like Jake's brother Sam, than either of you.

Now that the boys are a little older he can take all of you on tour with him at least in the summer while they're off school. He loves bringing them out on stage and showing them off to the world. They love the attention.

When he's off tour he teaches them to play guitar. Henry is super into it but Mason prefers to sing while his father and brother play. You love to just sit and watch. Occasionally you join in Mason's singing. You found some lyrics laying on Mason's bed one day. The song was about getting to sing on stage while his dad played guitar. You told Jake and he cried. He was so proud and scared at the same time. After that he encouraged Mason to sing for the family and he and Henry wrote music to go with his lyrics.

Sammy:
He had always wanted kids, but you didn't for a long time. It broke his heart but you adopted three dogs together who became your children. By the time you decided you were ready for actual kids you were both in your late thirties. You both were worried about the risks involved in older pregnancy so you decided to adopt instead. It took a while to get approved and everything but eventually you got a family of two sisters and a brother. The oldest is Jalia, she's 10. The middle child is Marcus, he's 7. The youngest is Francisca and she's only 2 years old. Somehow they didn't get separated in foster care. They're all eternally grateful to you and Sam for taking them in.

Sam loves them so much he says it hurts. He tells them every day no matter what. He's not the best at discipline so that part falls to you more often than you'd like. He is their favorite person in the whole wide world. They love seeing him play on stage and dance around when he plays their favorite parts.

If he's on tour they call him twice a day. Sometimes he picks up sometimes he doesn't. They are never deterred when they don't get to speak to him though, they just say "Ok next time then!" and go about their day. Their optimism helps keep your own longing for him at bay.

When he's at home he gives them everything they want. Food  toys, attention. E V E R Y T H I N G.  He says he just wants to keep smiles on their faces. He does make sure they get their schoolwork done and he has put them in Spanish classes to make sure they don't loose their bilingual abilities. Education is the one thing he's strict about which surprises you, given his record of truancy, but you aren't complaining.

Danny:
You have a son together and want to have another kid soon. His name is James and he's 3. Danny is a tough dad but he loves his son to death. He's pretty strict about most things like bedtime and finishing dinner, but he encourages James to have fun and be creative.

When he's on tour Danny sticks to a schedule of facetiming every other day at 4 PM. He hasn't missed a single call yet. James loves to hear stories about the shows and the different things Dan sees on the road. You put up a map of the world in his room and every time he's on a call with Danny he asks him where he is. When they hang up he asks you to show him where Daddy is and he puts one of his spiderman stickers on that place on the map. You started buying him smaller stickers because the map is filling up fast.

When Danny is home he spends a lot of time doing whatever James wants. They like to color a lot. Once James took a red crayon to one of Danny's snare heads. Danny scolded James and made sure it wouldn't happen again, but he ended up hanging the head up in the music room. James loves sports and Danny makes sure they go and play catch or soccer every day. He also takes him golfing every once in a while. James has his own little 4 club set and its pretty much his pride and joy. Danny doesn't allow James to play the drums yet. He says it's too dangerous, but he bought him a little acoustic guitar to mess around with. You aren't sure that James will take after his dad in the musical sense, but you're glad he has the exposure.

The funny thing about Danny's name being what it is, is that James doesn't realize that "Daddy" and "Danny" are two different words. He usually calls him one or the other, but occasionally he gets mixed up and calls him Dandy. You laugh everytime, but Danny is trying to get him to understand the difference.
