chapter 7: what could have been and could still be

It was the end of the week and naruto was holding a piece of paper in his hand. But not just any paper it was the blood test results from The hospital and he couldn't believe what he was reading there in bold black ink it said.

"The current blood test results performed by Kabuto yakushi, tsunade senju and shizune Kato are as follows.

In the DNA comparison of naruto uzumaki namikaze to Kushina uzumaki and minato namikaze our results have concluded that the blood taken from both of the individuals is a 95.5% match.
In the blood test comparison of tsunade senju,jiraia namikaze Hashirama senju tobirama senju and Mito Uzumaki. The blood test results have come back as a 100% match to the first second and fourth hokage and their spouses.

Naruto just fell to his knees still holding the test results in his hand and started to cry and cry into his hands until kurenai and anko came into the living room and saw naruto crying and anko asked." Hey naruto. What's wrong kid???." Naruto said nothing. Instead he just shakily handed The test results to anko and her eyes went wide as she yelled saying." KURENAI GET OUT HERE QUICK!!!. WE GOT A HUGE PROBLEM!!!" Kurenai then came running out of the kitchen and into the living room and said." WHAT IS THE MATTER ANKO!!??" Anko Then handed the blood test results to kurenai and as she read it her heart sank knowing that If the council found out about this then naruto would never be safe. She then asked." Has anyone else seen these test results other than us???." And naruto said." A copy of the test results was sent to Kushina as well so other than her. No. No one else has seen them." Just then a knock was heard on the door.(knock knock!!!.) Kurenai then said." Come on in Kushina. It's open." Kushina then walked through the door tears staining her eyes as she slowly approached naruto and said." Naruto. Son. I'm sorry that you are having a hard time adjusting to All of this. But please let me know if you want me to be a part of your life. If you don't want me to I can understand." She started walking away but just before she could reach The door she felt something or rather someone grab her wrist and it was naruto as he pulled her towards him and said." Please don't go. I... want to be a part of your life also. Maybe we could talk about shared adoption. Or have anko nee-chan and kurenai nee-chan move in with me and you. Please. I owe Them my life. And uzumaki clan members always value family even adopted family above all else right???." And Kushina said." Of course they can naruto. And don't worry. I'm never going to leave you alone ever again. And that's a genuine promise." Kurenai and anko were happy that naruto was finally able to get the closure he needed his entire life and fell asleep in kushina's arms and Kushina said." Thank you. Both of you. You have no idea how much it means to me that my son has been in such good hands and your family now also so you don't have to stay here you know. You can come live with me and naruto at the uzumaki clan compound if you want to that is???." And kurenai said." Thank you so much for your kindness Kushina. But we don't want to intrude on your home." And Kushina said." Nonsense. There is plenty of room there's three bedrooms and three bathrooms and a kitchen. So there's more than enough room for the two of you. I insist that you stay." And anko said." Come on kurenai. You have to admit that I am not going to be able to stay on your couch forever you know. Plus we are obligated to take care of naruto even if we have to stay with his mother." And kurenai said." Fine. I guess I have no choice in the matter. Alright we'll stay with you guys."
And with that said Kushina kurenai and anko carried naruto back to his mother's and by extent his house. and put him to bed.
