Chapter 15

(Georgette's pov)

I sat in the room with Luke for about 20 minutes before a doctor came in.

"Luke Hemmings" she said.

"Yes" he answered.

"We went through your charts, you may be up and talking but you have to go into surgery" she said.

"Why" I asked.

"To make sure the wound doesn't start bleeding"

"Why would it start bleeding" I asked.

"It could start bleeding randomly at anytime, we are putting him in surgery to make sure that does not happen"

"Will I be okay" Luke asked.

"Of course" she said.

"When does he have to go" I asked.

"Now, if possible"

"Can I just say goodbye" I asked.

"Yes, I'll send nurses in to get him in 2 minutes, 5 tops" she said walking out of the room.

"You nervous" I asked.

"A little"

"I promise you, you're gonna be okay"

"I know" Luke said as nurses walked in.

"I love you" I said.

"I love you too" he said as they took him out of the room.

(Michael's pov)

Zayn walked back into the room. You could tell he was crying.

"Where's Georgette" he asked.

"She's in the room with Luke" Harry said.

"Is he okay" he asked.

"Yea they said he's up and talking and he's gonna be fine" I said.

"Good" he said sitting down next to Niall.

"What happened" Calum asked.

"I called my mom, she explained everything" he said wiping his eyes.

"So are you okay" Niall asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, you better be the best brother ever to her" he said to Calum.

"Believe me I will" he said.

Then nurses pulled Luke out of the room and Georgette came out behind.

All of us stood up.

"What are they doing" I asked.

"He's going into surgery to make sure that his wound doesn't start bleeding randomly" Georgette said.

"So, more waiting I'm guessing" Ashton said sitting back down.

She shook her head 'yes' and sat down next to Zayn.

(Zayn's pov)

I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that Georgette is not my sister. I mean Calum's, what a coincidence in that.

"Zayn" Geogette whispered.

"Yea" I answered.

Everyone was asleep except me and Georgette. It was 1am and Luke has been in surgery since 11pm. They said Luke would be in surgery for 6-7 hours. None of us would leave. So we ended up sleeping in these chairs.

"Are you upset" she asked.

"About what"

"About the fact that I'm not your sister, I'm upset so I'm guessing you are too"

"Of course I'm upset" I said.

"But don't worry, you are still my family and always will be. Calum's family will never replace the family I grew up with" Georgette said, making me feel a little better than before.....
