(Luke's pov)
My mom's class was having their recess outside. I was playing football with a couple of the boys.
"Luke, Luke over here!" one of the boys yelled as I kicked the ball.
"Excuse me?" one girl asked tapping my back.
"Yea" I said turning to face her.
"Can you sign this?" she asked handing me a folder with a picture of me and the boys on it.
"Yea, sure" I said taking it from her and signing my autograph.
"Thank you" she said walking back over to her friends.
...
"How did you like it?" my mom asked when we got in the car.
"It was good, those boys are good at football" I said taking out my phone.
Me: hey sweetie, how's your day going?
I sent the text message and turned back to my mom.
"When am I going to get to meet Georgette?" she asked.
"Maybe after tours over, we go back in a week and a half and she has to go back to Bradford to see her family" I said.
"The adopted one?" She asked.
"Well to her its her real family, they raised her and took care of her. I would've felt they were my real family if I were in her shoes" I defended.
"You're quick to defend her aren't you?" my mom asked.
"I'll defend her any day" I answered.
(Georgette's pov)
Luke: hey sweetie, how's your day going?
I was in the car driving to the mall with Mrs. Hood.
"Who's that?" She asked.
"Luke" I answered.
Me: heyyyy my days going good..spending day with Mrs. Hood.
Then my phone started ringing
'Carmelina' the called ID said. (If you don't remember Carmelina, reread chapter 1)
"Hey" I said picking up the phone.
"Omg Georgette I haven't spoken to you in forever" she yelled into the phone.
"You either"
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Going to the mall with Mrs. Hood"
"Oh right, you're actually Calum's sister, your family just adopted you, and yea I get it" she said.
"Good, so yea in 2 days I'll be home" I said.
"Thank God!!!! I've been waiting forever to see you!" She yelled again.
"Ok, we just got to the mall so I have to go" I said.
"Ok, see you in 2 days"
"See ya" I said hanging up.
Luke: I just spent the day with a bunch of 12 year olds..it was fun!
Me: I was fun as a 12 year old
Luke: that's very hard to believe
Me: how is it hard to believe???
Luke: well I could imagine you as the one that sat in the library and read all day
Me: that is just offensive..I mean I was smart but I still had fun
