A rubix cube can look so complicated. But once you can solve it the process is memorised and you know the right turns to make.
A gliding and switching of colour to colour. The classic cubes are stiff and require more convincing to move. Off brand can often glide too far. You get the right cube, a speed cube, the colours glide as magnets and match.
Matching and staying in place. Only to glide away and change and shift for another colour. Red, green, blue, orange, yellow and white. Multiple methods. A practiced movement. Down round up across. Down round up across. Filling in the corners of the final cross.

Fight that urge to smash the cube into the solid wood of the desk"Hey Evs,"
Hannah poked her head round the door . Levi looked up from the cube
"What," she huffed
"Uh,just saying we're ordering pizza," the ginger answered "also you got any quicker at them?" She zipped into the room and sat next to her purple haired friend.
"Normally yes.."Levi passed the cube over, "Its not working today,"
Hannah moved the cubes sides, doing the same movements to solve it and was met with it still broken.
"Maybe the corners are twisted?"
Levi had another look and twisted round the corner pieces instead of doing the movements. Solved.
"Now what do you want from pizza?"
