Walking down stairs felt worse than ever.
I felt weak and struggled to even hold myself up as I reached the last step.
I fell towards the railing but managed to quickly catch myself in the last second.
"What are you doing up this early, dear?" Said grandma from the living room looking over her farsighted glasses holding a book between her hands.
I must have startled her being up this early making a ruckus.
"I just need to take a shower, that's all"
I said with a newly awakened raspy voice. Continuing walking towards the bathroom opposite to where the stairs lead me.
"This early?" I could hear her say as I opened the bathroom door while yawning.
I walked inside the shower after taking my clothes off, when suddenly cold water started hitting my face as I walked in without having touched the handle.
I gasped and quickly jumped out with my hands already reaching for the bathroom door. "The shower is being a bitch again!" I yelled from a small gap of the door at grandma while shivering.
I could once again hear her from the living room giving out a huge sigh as I closed the door and walked back inside the shower. I quickly turned the handle towards the red and waited for the warm water to arrive while avoiding the it by the space between the wall. I let my hand decide that it was warm enough and then blissfully jumped inside the stream of water.
