Laura's point of view: Few weeks later:
I woke up at 8am. I ate breakfast, and after that, I was going to my job. I was about to open the door until Jimin slides in front of me with his arms wide open. "I'm not letting you go" I sighed as I rolled my eyes. "DON'T ROLL YOUR EYES. DON'T BE DISRESPECTFUL; Young lady, sweetheart, honey, I won't let you go to your job" "Why not?" I asked as I raised a brow at him. "That girl, she's making you worse. Because of her, you stress out a lot. You know last time we had to go to the hospital because a sudden attack happened to you. Look, I know you feel happy because you made a 'friend' but she isn't-" I stopped him. "Just let me go please, I'll be careful next time okay?" I said as I push him to the side and open the door. "Laura.." He mumbled. I turned around and faced him. I cupped his cheeks with my hands. "Don't worry Jiminnie, I'll be alright. I'll text you whenever I don't feel good" I smiled and gave him a peck. "I'll see you later okay?" I closed the door and went to the thrift store.
"Hello Hyeyoung!" I shouted as I entered the shop. "Hey Laura" She walked towards me. She was taller than me, (only a little) so she had to look down when she talks, and I have to lift my head up quite a bit. "Didn't I tell you to arrive here at 8am?" She said as she placed her arms on her waist. I squinted my eyes a bit. "It's 8am" I replied. She snickered. "It's 8:30!" She almost shouted at me. "But it's still 8am.." I mumbled as I left and went to the counter area. I heard her stomp her way there. "Look Laura, you have quite an attitude" She said sassily. You're the one who has an attitude. I ignored her and went to one of the racks that was close to the counter. "I was talking to you!" Hyeyoung shouted at me. "Hey, how about if we go to the back to take some clothes and put them here-" I felt her hand hit my cheek. "How dare you?!" She screamed. I turn my head around as I placed my hand on my left cheek. "I thought you were a good person, Laura-" I interrupted her. I can't anymore, I have to confront her."You're the one with the attitude! I haven't done anything wrong! I'm here because I wanted to do something fun, something to distract me for a while. Hyeyoung, I thought I made a friend for once, but I guess I was wrong." I said as I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in.
I turned on the lights and stared blankly at the mirror. There was a red mark on my cheek. You could clearly see it was someone's hand that slapped me. I can't go home looking like this. "I guess I'll use a face mask to cover that up." I mumbled at myself. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door. "Laura are you okay?" I recognize that voice.. "Jungkook?" I said out loud. "Open up" He said as he knocked once again. I opened the door and there he was. He was wearing his black face mask, he had a grey hoodie, jeans, and his timberlands. "I saw everything" He said as he folded his arms together. I gasped and my eyes widened. "How did you-" I was cut off. "I'll tell you what happened."
"I heard you talking to Jimin this morning, I was quite worried about you, so I lied to them and and told the others I was going to buy something to eat. Instead, I ran to the thrift store. I arrived there, and I saw you talking to that girl. I kept staring and I saw when she slapped you. I was furious. I wanted to speak to her. But I waited for a while. Then I saw you run to, I don't even know where. Finally, I entered and followed you." He explained and I immediately hugged him. "Please don't tell Jimin" "I'm sorry Laura but..." I pushed him back. "Jungkook.. I don't want him to get mad at me" I said as bit my bottom lip. "Look Laura, I love you and admire you. I'm sorry but I think it's best if I tell him." He said as he placed his hand on my shoulder. I exhaled. "Alright.." I didn't have another choice..
Jungkook held my hand and we exited the bathroom. "Where do you think-" She stopped talking when she saw Jungkook. She was terrified. "Goodbye" I mouthed at her. I smirked at Hyeyoung once Junkook opened the door to leave.
We arrived at the house.. I was extremely nervous and scared. "Hey Jungkook! What took you so lo-" Jimin ran towards me and gave me a hug. "Thank you Jungkook" He whispered. He stood back and stared at my cheek. "What happened!" Jimin shouted as he glanced at me and then at my cheek. "Hyeyoung, slapped her face." Jungkook said as he walked past us. "WHAT?!- I swear that girl is going to regret slapping you when she sees me." He was mad. You could tell by the look on his face. He gritted his teeth and a vein popped out of his neck. It was my first time seeing him like that. I'm so happy I have Jimin as my boyfriend. Without him, I wouldn't known what would happen to me. "Woah woah woah" Yoongi and Jin went up to Jimin and held him back.
"I need to go there! She can't be left like that! I'm going to tell Hyeyoung how much of a pain in the ass she has been! I can't believe her!!" Jimin was kicking and hitting Yoongi and Jin. "Let me go please!" "Jimin! Please don't worry! I won't go there anymore I promise! You can even tell the boss what happened, there are cameras everywhere!" I shouted at him as I glanced at Jimin. He stopped and stared at me. "You promise?" Tears filled his eyes. "I promise" I smiled at him and he walked towards me. Jimin cupped my face and he placed his lips on mine. "KEEP THIS PG- 13!" Hoseok screamed as he covered Jungkook's and Taehyung's eyes. Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon laughed at Hoseok. "How about you?" Namjoon told him. "Ah yes, I don't have another arm so I can't cover myself."
Author's Point of view:
After all that happened, Jimin and the boys went to the thrift store and talked to Laura's boss. They watched the scene and they fired Hyeyoung from the thrift store. Laura's boss was mad and sad at the same time. She knew how Hyeyoung was. But she didn't expect she would do something like that. Syeolhwa, Laura's boss, gave the girl another opportunity. She wanted to pay for everything Hyeyoung did to Laura. Jimin felt extremely happy at how she was treating his girlfriend. She knows her condition isn't the best, so she wants her to be happy too. The boys agreed and they said she could still work there. If anything happened, Syeolhwa knew what to do.
"Thank you Jimin for being with me. I know I tell you this everyday, but I appreciate you a lot. I love you so so so much. Please, don't leave me, stay by my side forever." Laura expressed. Jimin glanced at her and hugged the girl. "I love you too Laura. I'll never leave you. You mean the world to me." They both kissed under the beautiful sunset....
