"Mark looks like you've had a successful recovery! You no longer need your mother to take care of you," the doctor informed with a slight smile on his face.

A whole three months had flown by since Mark's surgery. It's been three months and eleven days since he had fallen ill. Almost two since he has confronted his mother about her feelings towards Lily and forbidden to leave the house without her.

A whole month and one half since he snuck out to see his girlfriend. One month of preparation, and one week without seeing her.

The couple was able to arrange a small house and well-paying jobs down in Busan with the help of Lily's aunt. Her cousin is s nurse at the best hospital in Busan, and he was able to find a doctor who could take good care of Mark as they live there.

Enough money was transferred for both Mark and Lily's banking accounts for everything to be paid for. They were able to afford a car and fully furnish the house for when they came. All that's left to do is wait.

"Oh no, doctor, Mark has to stay with me."

"Not at all Mrs.Lee," the doctor retorted. "Mark is perfectly healthy and well enough to go back to his apartment."

The doctor smiled at Mark causing him to return the gesture.

The boy got up for the chair which he sat and exited the room, his mother trailing behind him. He couldn't wait to get home and tell Lily they could leave already.
