Water Stains

I got my book bag and went to my seat to pack up like everyone else was doing at the end of math so I could go to recess and lunch. As I dropped my book bag into my chair my water bottle fell onto the floor and spilled, but the floor is carpet. I told my friend Fefe (his nickname lol) that since it was water we didn't need to use paper towels and we should just let it dry because water doesn't stain carpets. He looks at me confused but leaves it. I went up to my teacher (math teacher, the guy everyone hates) to tell him that I had spilled some water, and right as I was about to tell him what I told my friend he cut me off saying: "Ok just grab some paper towels and try to get up as much as you can so that it doesn't stain." Me over here just internally going"excuse me what"  and walked away questioning the school staff and why I decided to go to this school-

I'm literally writing this and posting it from my computer in social studies cause I'm bored.
