Chapter 28

Vanessa's POV

I pulled Harry to my car and he got in on the passenger's side. I got into the driver's seat buckling myself in. "You ready?" I asked looking at Harry who finished buckling his own sit belt.

"Um.....yeah." he said now looking at me.

"Great! Lets go!" i said rather loudly.

I started to pull out of the parking lot and started driving toward the ocean. I mean i'm sort of nervous to see what he thinks but i'm also excited to actually show someone who is not...well...um like me!

I drove to my secret place that i go to get some alone time. I parked the car a ways back and we have been walking for quite a bit. Okay this is it, am i ready for this? Or should ask if he is ready for this? Man the nervousness is catching up to this.

"So," Harry says coughing alittle, "why are we at the beach?" he asked looking at the sunset.

"Well this is where my special skill comes in." i say gesturing to the water. "Are you ready to see?" i asked to make sure he is surely ready for what is about to happen.

"Um...i guess." he says scratching the back of his neck.

"Okay, come here." I say taking his wrist and taking him to where the sand and the water meet. "Now this is going to be really weird since we just met but I have to kiss you." i say readying myself for what is about to happen.

"Wha-" he was cut off by my lips crashing onto his.

After a bit he started to kiss back which suprised me but it was still great. We stayed like that for what seemed like a long time but was really like 10 seconds. I backed away and saw that he was suprised but happy. "May i ask why?" he said making me giggle alittle, yes giggle!

"To let you breath under water so you can see what I am, of course." is ay  in a 'duh' kind of voice.

"Oh right, how could i have forgotten." he said bumping his forehead with his palm.

"Okay Harry ready?" i asked again just to prepare him.

"Yes, lets  go!" he said pointing to the ocean.

"Okay." say taking his wrist again and running farther into the ocean.

After getting far enough i dove under the surface with Harry looking at me breathing in the water. I looked down to see orange scales forming on my legs and my feet starting to mold together forming a fin. I looked back at Harry and he looked.....happy? What!?! He came up to me super fast and took hold of my face softly and kissed me.

Only if I had my under water camera, this would be the cutest and best picture ever.
