Changbin P.O.V

I unpacked my stuff from the car and carried it into my new house.
This is my new life now. I said to myself with a sigh.

As I was bringing in the items from the car inside the house, my mom helped me put it down inside.

"Why don't you introduce yourself to the neighbors?" She said kindly.

"But mom I don't want toooo." I said groaning.

"Come on sweetie you have to."

I really didn't want to. I'm quiet and I'm not good at socializing and talking to people. Besides I'd rather stay here and unpack then have to go and knock on every single house and repeat the same line 100 times.

"Ugh fine." I said looking at my mom's pleading eyes. I turned around and fixed myself before rolling my eyes and heading out the door.

Here goes nothing.

The first house I knocked on was an old lady's house. She opened the door and greeted me kindly with a big smile.

"Hi my name is Changbin. I am your new neighbor, I just moved here." I said putting on a fake smile.

"Well hello cutie!" The lady said.
"Are your parents inside?"

"Yea they are packing but they'll come around later." I said, still fake smiling.

"Okay that's great! You are so lovely I can't wait to meet them. Goodbye now!"

"Goodbye" I said. Then I turned around moving on the the next house.

1 down out of who knows how many.

In the next houses were 2 young couples in their late 20s, an old couple, a middle aged lady with a dog, and a man in his mid 60's living by himself.

Then I made my way to the next house knocking on the door.
If it is one more old person or couple I am going to scream.

When I knocked, 10 seconds later the door opened. A small kid about my age was standing on the other side. He had orange hair and freckles.
He's kind of cute.

"H-Hello my name is Seo Changbin. I-I am your new neighbor, I just moved here." I said softly. I am not good at speaking with strangers, especially cute strangers.

"Hello! Its nice to meet you! My name is Lee Felix!" The kid said excitedly. He was really bubbly and he did not stop smiling.

"Nice to meet you to. I just wanted to introduce myself, I have to unpack now bye." I said turning around slowly.

"Wait!" The kid put his hand on my shoulder, stopping me.

"Can I come over and visit you anytime when you finish moving in?"

"U-uh sure." I said calmly. Then I turned around and left.

When I finished introducing myself I returned inside to my house. My parents greeted me.

"Did you introduce yourself to the neighbors?"

"Yes." I said.

"Were they nice?"

"Yea they were nice. They were mostly couples or old people."

"Was there anyone your age?" My mom asked.

"Yea there was one kid that looked about my age." I said.

"That's great! You can make a friend here now! You should have him over tonight."

"U-uh I don't know. Maybe another time?"

"Why not today?" My father asked looking concerned.

"I'm just tired and don't feel like talking to anyone."

"Aw Changbin come on. It's only one night! You should invite him so we can get to know him better don't you think?"

"I'm fine." I said and left to go to my room.

"Let us know if you change your mind." My mom yelled from downstairs.

I won't. I said quietly to myself. Then I went in my room and locked the door, jumping on my bed. I laid there staring at the ceiling.
