(There, see, no cliff hanger.)

Shoto jumped into the sewers and suffered for three hours in the stench until he finally threw open a manhole and emerged in the suburbs a-ways away from the city.

"Third house, on your right," the one they called Izu said, "Hito will open the door for you... don't touch the lawn... it's alarmed."

"The lawn is alarmed?" Shoto asked.

"You don't think this is a typical shitty safe house?" the one that Shoto now knew was called 'Kacchan' scoffed.

Shoto walked up to the door and waited. It was unlocked and a boy his age opened the door. His mess of purple hair stuck in the air on his head and his light purple eyes looked over Shoto cautiously, the ginormous bags under his eyes showed what little sleep the boy got.

"Get inside, before someone sees you," the purple-haired boy sighed; Hito. Shoto recognized him by his voice.

"Thank you," Shoto nodded stepping into the lit home. The kitchen was to his left, a dining room to his right, and a living room in front of him. There was a hallway past the kitchen that most likely led to the bedrooms.

"The name's Shinso," Hitoshi said extending a hand.

"Todoroki," Shoto said turning away and ignoring it.

Hitoshi narrowed his eyes as he put his hand away, "Make yourself comfortable, dinner is in an hour."

Shoto nodded and Hitoshi walked into the hallway. Shoto stood for a moment alone in the house wondering what to do, and then eventually followed him. He turned into the hallway and stopped when he saw someone else walking down it. The blonde-haired boy scoffed when he saw him and shoved his way past him.

"Move it, Icy-Hot," the boy growled walking over to the living room and turning the T.V on; Kacchan, Shoto figured. He switched it to the local news station which was all propaganda.

"Anything on him!" another boy asked scrambling down the hall. He stopped in front of Shoto and looked at him stunned. "Oh, hi there Shoto Todoroki," the boy said bowing, his eyes held nothing but distraction. He ran past the Shoti and stood in front of the T.V.

"Is there anything?" the green-haired boy asked again.

"Nothing's changed," Katsuki growled. "Now get out of the way, nerd, I can't see."

"No update on the news websites either," Hitoshi said walking out of the hallway and looking down at a phone. He walked past Shoto without a second glance.

"Do you think - " the greenette began.

"And now for the hourly update!" the newscaster smiled.

"Alright, shut up you extras," Katsuki snapped to the other kids in the room.

"As of our last update, we are pleased to announce that the villain emergence in the southern part of the city had been put down," the new reporter smiled. Izuku sat down his eyes full of worry, Katsuki rearranged himself giving away his well-hidden nervousness and Hitoshi leaned over the back of the couch watching the news intently.

"While the major villain Endeavor is still at large we are pleased to say that our heroes have apprehended multiple minor villains-"

Izuku inhaled sharply.

"Say names, say names," Hitoshi prayed under his breath watching the T.V with a determined gaze.

"We'll release the villain's identities as soon as we receive that information. And now, a message from our mayor-" The screen cut to a tall woman with long blue hair and half-moon glasses.
