(*cough* *cough*, anyone feel like some wholesome fluff?)
"Are you sure you are okay with this mission?" Nezu asked over the phone.
"I told you I'm alright with it," Shota sighed putting his head in one hand.
"It's a big responsibility, raising the future of the rebellion," Nezu reminded him.
"It's only two kids, besides I doubt Bakugo would do well under anyone else, he's rather-" a crash sounded out from upstairs. "...Wild," Shota finished with a sigh. "And Shinso is one of the best students I've ever taught.
There was a loud yell and Shota moaned as his eye twitched.
"It sounds like I should let you go," Nezu supposed. "Be warned, I very well may ask you to take a few more under your wing."
"Yeah, okay," Shota sighed now listening to the fighting that was happening upstairs. "I have to go."
He hung up the phone and leaned back in his chair. The damn kids were at it again.
"You bastard! Get back here!" Katsuki yelled.
"NO THANKS!" Izuku cried running down the stairs.
"You think this is a fucking joke? I'm gonna kill you!"
"Why are you so upset Bakugo?!" Hitoshi yelled running after the two, likely trying to brainwash Katsuki.
"It wasn't purposeful I swear!" Izuku cried desperately running into the living room and vaulting himself over a couch.
"Like hell!" Katsuki retorted chasing after him.
Suddenly both Izuku and Katsuki were tied up by Shota's scarf. He looked at them, his eyes burning and his hair standing up. Both boys froze and the sweat dripped from their foreheads.
"Would either of you like to explain what's going on?" he asked in a low tone.
"Deku freakin dropped a bookshelf on me!" Katsuki cried after the moment of feat had passed.
"It was an accident!" Izuku defended, "I was trying to reach the top shelf and it just kinda - "
Shota held the bridge of his nose. Katsuki Bakugo had been living with them for a week. At first, it had been extremely awkward between him and Izuku Midoriya.
Katsuki, along with the rest of the neighborhood had apparently figured that Izuku had died alongside his mother. At first, Katsuki had nearly cried when he realized he was alive... and then he almost murdered Izuku for "screwing with him". They shared a room in the two-bedroom house, Katsuki on a top bunk and Izuku on the bottom, Hitoshi slept in the bed next to them.
Shota had found that the trio of kids did one of three things; fought, actually coexisted for a few seconds, or avoided each other completely. Izuku had changed over the years, while he was still extremely jumpy and nervous he wasn't afraid to tell Katsuki that what he was doing was wrong which apparently ticked Katsuki the hell off. Hitoshi was a neutral party most of the time, however, when it came to combat, he would nearly always take Izuku's side, sometimes he even brainwashed Katsuki which would tick Katsuki off even more.
The three would go at it, in hand to hand combat Izuku beat Katsuki, if quirks were involved Izuku was useless, however, Hitoshi always got the upper hand of Katsuki in quirk battles. Funny enough Katsuki didn't use his quirk on Izuku too frequently, partly because Shota would get furious, but also because there was some form of mutual understanding going on between the two twelve-year-old boys. Hitoshi didn't intervene all too often but when he did, Shota always had to intervene further. Still, there seemed to be some sort of understanding happening between the three.
