Yamada plunked ten boxes of noodles into the shopping cart, along with five cartons of chicken broth. The kids ate a hell of a lot and that made grocery runs really expensive. Izuku stood in the other isle placing produce in a basket. Hitoshi sat outside on a park bench reading a newspaper while also keeping watch on who went inside the store. Aizawa sat concealed in a hoodie behind the wheel of their get-away car, tense. His bandages had been removed a few days ago and he'd immediately gotten back to work.
It was a small operation to grab enough food for class 1-A... it was a risk they pulled almost every weekend at different grocery stores... but it never lost it's terrifying feel. Izuku almost jumped ten feet in the air when a woman accidentally dropped a can a few meters away.
They were on edge... rightfully so.

"You sure?" the hero asked as they peered out of the white van's window at the boy on the bench. There didn't seem to be anything special about the boy, his purple hair was poking out from under his hood and he didn't look dangerous at all in his dark sweatshirt and ripped jeans.
"Yeah," an indistinct voice gurgled from the back of the van, "It's one of the brats master's looking for."
"Then... let's have a good time," the other hero chuckled.

Hitoshi had been eyeing the van closely, the driver hadn't moved and once or twice Hitoshi had caught the driver staring at him. The back of the van opened and Hitoshi looked over to the car where Aizawa sat.
"We may have a problem," Hitoshi murmured, the earpiece in his ear relayed that message to everyone in the area.
"What kind of problem?" Aizawa demanded, looking to the boy who sat on the park bench a few meters away.
Hitoshi watched in horror as the sludge hero slid out of the van and stared at him.
"Like big ugly slime hero monster," Hitoshi said standing up and trying to walk away.
"Get to the car," Aizawa ordered.
The sludge hero, however, has already identified Hitoshi, the purple-haired boy could tell.
"Come here brat!" the sludge hero laughed suddenly surging forward, oozing and running towards Hitoshi at an impressive speed.
Hitoshi jumped back avoiding one of the green sludge hands that tried to punch him. He nimbly dodged another one landing closer to the store where people were screaming and running inside.
"Stop moving!" the sludge hero gurgled angrily.
"I can't delete his quirk!" Aizawa yelled into the headpiece. Aizawa was already getting out of the car ready to help.
'Must be a mutant-type quirk...' Hitoshi thought as he clenched his teeth and dodged another blow.
"Hito, duck!" Yamada ordered through the earpiece. Hitoshi immediately threw himself on to the cement and covered his ears.
"GET LOOOOOSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTT!" Yamada yelled activating his quirk. It hit the slime hero head-on and blew him back so that parts of him splattered back into the parking lot. Aizawa got back into the car and slammed his foot on the gas. He made a tight turn, avoiding the patches of slime until he pulled up in front of the store.
Hitoshi, Yamada, and Izuku all ran up to the car and jumped in. Hitoshi dove into the back seat first, followed by Izuku. Yamada jumped into the front seat.
"GO GO GO GO!" Yamada cried fearfully.
Aizawa quickly raced away but the van didn't get far. There was a jolt and suddenly the van was slowly pulled backward. Yamada poked his head out of the window and looked behind them. The slime hero was slowly reforming, two of his slimy hands had grabbed onto the car's back axle and had attached themselves to two lamp posts keeping the car stationary even though the tires were squealing.
