I giggled as I watched Ruby drunkenly toss his empty beer bottle into the grass of the front yard. A dull shatter radiated from the decision and I let my head fall into his chest. He sat in front of me on the wooden porch. The dull yellow light from the porch light gave him a dark glow. The light shone through the flyaways on his head. I exhaled into his chest, moving a section of the brown curls with my breath.
"Do you want another beer" He asked with a drunken voice. It made me smile I looked up and him to find him staring at me, our eyes met and he smiled at me. "What, I can't admire?" He shook his head like a toddler and I chuckled.
"Get me a beer" I replied. I moved my head off his chest and watched him get up, he leaned on the railing along the porch for support, before stumbling into the house.
Before long, he came back outside and handed me another corona. I grabbed the bottle opener off the porch and cracked open the top, before passing it to Ruby. He did the same and I took a sip of the liquor.
"Your hair looks kinda bad" I whispered. He looked over at me and smiled.
"What do you plan on doing about it then?" I smiled before grabbing his hand and pulling him up.
"I'm gonna fix you trust me" I spoke, before leading him into the house.

I dug through the drawer by the sink for the dye before finding it under a box of condoms. I smiled and pulled out the dye, putting it on the sink.
"I'm gonna make you green baby" I looked over at him, he stared at the wall and took a sip of the beer he started drinking outside.
"Okay I trust you but if you make a mess your cleaning it up" He looked up at me and spoke before putting the beer bottle on the corner of the sink.
I opened the dye and grabbed some of it with my hand before grabbing some of his hair and running it through. I heard him giggle at the noises.
"That's what good pussy sounds like" He laughed at his own joke and grabbed his beer, taking a sip while still smiling.
"God you're like five" I smiled and watched him try to swallow through the laughter.
I got to the ends of his hair and kept massaging the dye in. Only a small section of his hair was green, I grabbed more dye and continued until the whole half of his head was coated with the color.
"Just wait for like, I dunno, some time?" I sat on the sink and watched him get up and go into his room, before coming back with a blunt and a lighter.
"Are you kidding me your shitfaced" I sighed and watched him light the blunt.
"Stop harassing my decisions" He spoke as he exhaled the smoke. I smiled and looked at his hair.
It was a deep emerald green color, I knew it would lighten up once his hair was dry but I could already tell it was gonna suit him well.
"A nice 'thank you for your help' would be nice" I broke the silence and heard him get up. He put his face close to mine and let our foreheads touch.
"Thank you mom" He spoke, I shut my eyes and kissed him. It wasn't a long kiss, I don't even think he had the mental capacity to kiss me back.
"Your welcome and by the way this isn't gonna become one of those mother son pornos so don't make it seem like that" He laughed and sat back down.
"I really was not planning on that but okay" He spoke.
"You should rinse your hair now it's starting to dry it looks crusty" He looked at me with a fake-offended face.
