-Rantaro's POV-

There are moments in my life that I am not proud of...this is one of those moments.

I am following Saihara.. I'm guessing back to his home. I kept a good bit away from him to not seem suspicious.

At times like these I wish I didn't have a vibrant hair color. I quietly groaned to my self, deciding if this is going to become a habit I need to buy a hoodie.

I watched as the dark haired male entered a apartment complex. I follow at a reasonable distance behind him.

Saihara made his way up the stairs and walked up to his apartment door. He stood there for a few moments before opening the door and closing it behind him.

" He's home and hopefully safe...thank goodness. " I smiled to myself in relief. He should be okay for today. I hope he remembers to call one of his closer friends and ask if they can stay with him for a while.

" Time to head home as well, I guess. " I say to myself as I turned my back on the apartment complex and walk down the street to my place.

I enter my house with a sigh of relief. To be home after all that happened today is definitely nice. I walk into my living room and lay down on the couch putting the TV on.

-The Next Day, Shuichi's POV-

My eyes flutter open slowly. I look around to realize I had fallen asleep on my couch. I stand up and rub my eyes as I start to walk to my bathroom.

After getting ready for the day I walk into the kitchen and brew myself some coffee. I can't function without a cup or two.

I sit back down on the couch to only have my eyes lay on the note Amami had written with his phone number. " ah, that's right I need to call Kaito or Kaede. " I pull my phone out of my pocket and dial Kaito's number.

No awnser.

I sigh and dial Kaede's number.

" Hello? " Kaede's happy and enthusiastic voice fulls up my ears once she picks up.

" H-Hi Kaede. It's Shuichi. " I smile nervously to myself.

She giggles lightly into the phone. "Silly, I can read contact names. "

" R-right, sorry. " I laugh akwardly to myself.

" No, No don't be sorry. It's alright Shuichi. What did you call for? " she enthusiastically changes the subject. I'm glad she could sense my utter distress. This is why I hate calling on the phone.

" I-I just have a favor to a-ask. "

" Oh, sure! Ask away! " I can practically feel her smile through the phone.

" It's k-kind of a werid request. A-And the reason why is even werider Idontevenknowifyouwouldbeliveme.." I mumble quickly into the phone.

" Shuichi! What have we talked about? Believe in yourself more! And you don't know if I won't believe you if you don't tell me. " she scolds me in a positive way....Is that even possible.

With her it is.

I laugh quietly into the phone. " Yes. Yes. Well, I was wondering if you could possibly stay at my place for a bit, o-or I could go to yours. I-its a long story why."

She giggles " Shuichi why didn't you say so in the first place! I don't mind at all. And you can tell me the reason why when I get to your place. See you in a few! " she speaks happily before hanging up.

I smile to myself. " That went better then I thought it would. " I pick up my coffee cup and take a sip.

" I should probably tidy up a bit before she comes. " I drink the rest of my coffee and stand up off the couch. To start tidying up around my place.

A little bit later I hear a soft knock on my door. I open the door a crack and look out to then be met with the happy smile that comes from Kaede.

" Hi shuichi! " she beams.

" H-Hi Kaede. Come in. " I step to the side to let her in. As she walks in I see her carrying a bag. She places that bag in a separate room that I have for guests. That room is usually really clean because I have very few quests. She's came to my house and stayed over a while ago. So Kaede practically knows the way around my house.

She comes back up to me and and smiles warmly. " So are you going to tell me why I was needed to stay over. NOT that i mind staying over, but you said there was a specific reason. "

" R-Right..well I don't think I'd be good at explaining it. S-so let me talk to the person who can. " I pull out my phone and dial the number on the paper Amami handed me.

"Oh, alright! " She smiles and walks into the kitchen.

" Hello..? Who is it? " I hear Amami's voice on the other line. It makes my heart jump.

" H-Hi...Amami! Ah, um...it's Saihara. " Damn why am I so akward.

" Oh! Saihara, how are you? " I can feel his smile through the phone.

" I-Im good..you? " I mumble happily into the phone.

" I'm doing well thank you. So what's up? " He chuckles lightly.

" W-well..I got my one friend Kaede Akamatsu to stay over. B-but I feel it would be better for you to explain my-our situation. "

He hums. " Sure thing. Any place we all could meet up and chat? " Amami questions.

"Oh, sure. How about a cafe? I know one that has great desserts! " I spoke in a happy tone. I have a Big sweet tooth.

He chuckles happily. " Sounds perfect. Alright, text me the address...and lets say meet there in 20 minutes. "

" 20 minutes got it. See you then Amami, bye. " I smile to myself.

" Bye Saihara. " he hangs up.

I text him the address of my favorite cafe. I hum in delight of some of the sweets I can try there today. " Time to inform Kaede. "

I walk into the kitchen to see her washing my dirty dishes. " Ah, Kaede you don't have to do that. "

" No, No I wanted to. I was bored anyways. " She finished drying the last plate putting it away. She turns to me with a happy smile. " Soooo? "

" We are going to a cafe in 20 minutes to talk about the r-reason. With a...friend of mine. " I smile at her.

" Sounds good! " She speaks enthusiastically while clapping her hands together.
