Bella the Cat

[Yoongi's POV]

It was just staring at me. Staring at me like it knows something that nobody else knows. Staring right into my soul. That damn cat.

I'm just sitting here, in our dorm with a cat staring right into my soul. We were asked by Jin's aunt if we could look after her old cat that she described to be "very friendly and playful even though she is super old". And now this 'friendly' and 'playful' cat is glaring straight at my soul.

[3rd POV of what happened before]

The cat was very friendly and nice in the beginning, but as soon as the door closed behind her owner, she just changed into the polar opposite of what she was before.

Her old grey eyes turned from round and sweet into a sharper version and the grey color seemed to get darker. Her tail dropped form being in a happy position to a dominant position and she puffed out her furr coat, making her look bigger and more intimidating. Her walk turned from bouncy and bubbly to a mysterious and super quiet one, making it difficult for the guys to know where she was.

Even Jin, who had taken care of the cat before was surprised and confused about the sudden change in the cats behavior.

"I've never seen Bella behave like that" Jin sighed looking at the grey striped cat that was currently sitting on the kitchen counter, where she could see everyone in the room.

"It's not like she's scared of strangers and new places, I've taken care of her with many of my friends and taken her outside and she still would be bubbly and curious" continued Jin furrowing his eyebrows in worry.

"Maybe it's the old age finally getting to her?" reasoned Namjoon placing a reassuring hand on his hyungs shoulder.

"She is a little scary now" Tae said quietly from the corner of the couch where he was also looking at the now intimidating cat.

"Maybe we should give her some food and personal space and she'll warm up a bit?" Jimin said sitting in the middle of the living room floor where he had multiple cat toys surrounding him.

"Yeah let's try that..." Jin said quietly still worried for the cat.

Turns out that the cat did not want the food and now the guys were even more confused on the whole 'kitty-situation'. Jimin looked the most disappointed as he was so excited to play with the playful kitty.

"Let's just give her some space and time for her to get used to our scents and the new environment, okay? We could all watch a movie in the living room so she can watch all of us. Jimin, could you go and get Yoongi from his studio? He needs a break anyways" Namjoon suggested from sitting on the couch and pulling up Netflix to the big TV.

With a quiet "Okay, hyung" from Jimin and the last look at the glaring cat, he leaves to get his hyung with a sigh.

[Yoongi's POV]

So this is where we are now, watching a movie, that I can't pay attention to at all, because I have a constant stare on me and it's making me uncomfortable. I turn to look at the cat from time to time, but every time I glance up at her, she just keeps staring at me with a mysterious look on her face.

I noticed that she stopped staring at the other guys a while ago because now she is only staring at me. Rest of the guys also seem more relaxed, because they don't have a burning glare on them.

I'm losing awareness of my surroundings as I can only concentrate on the cat.

I don't notice that I have started staring back at the cat. I don't notice that the movie I was supposed to be watching has ended a while ago and I also don't notice that the guys have started talking.

I only notice this when I hear someone say my name.

".... like Yoongi" Hobi laughs out, making the rest chuckle.

"What?" I ask breaking the stare-off for a moment.

"We were just talking how much Bella and you are alike right now. You are just staring at each other in such a similar way, that it's kind of scary to be honest." Hoseok repeats with amusement laced in his voice.

"It seems if some spirit has taken over Bella making her behave exactly the way you do, hyung!" Jimin says laughing afterwards, making his eyes disappear. Everyone was laughing at me and the cat as our stare-off started again.

[3rd POV]

This went on for a while. The members joking about how much Bella seemed to behave like Yoongi and teasing him on how he looked like a cat. They even pulled up ARMY's Yoongi cat edits to tease him more. Eventually it was too much for Yoongi, and he lowered his head in embarrassment.

But the whole time Bella was still staring at Yoongi in a mysterious way.

Hello, fellow stranger, thank you for reading. This is the first chapter to my first story, I've never really written anything so this might suck.

I wanted to say that I wanted to do this book just to think about what it would be like to become a hybrid, so we'll get some 'first-world-problems' of a cat hybrid.
