The thin line between love and hate

"Can we make up?I know what I said was stupid and it was out of my place but I love you Chase, I can't live without you."She said as she fought away the tears.Chase stared at her for awhile before nodding his head in agreement.Paige nearly wailed as she hugged him.Chase pulled away from her before walking into the school, Paige ran to catch up with him.

From a distant Lorenzo was watching the couple as they entered the school.He scowled distastefully as the couple wrapped their hands together.He caught the eye of the girl who glared daggers back at him before pulling closer to her boyfriend.Lorenzo rolled his eyes and looked away from them, he wasn't ready to ruin his day afterall, the piece of shit was protected from him by the deal he had with Paige.

Paige led Chase to his locker and gave him a peck on his cheek. They had decided to meet up at their next class they shared, since she had math for first period.

Many hours later and many classes learnt, Paige made her way to the only class she hated, P.E.Seated on the benches was Lorenzo and his followers.She ignored them and walked to the furthest corner where she normally sat when she wasn't being the victim of dodgeball.She swore she heard Lorenzo call her a fatty and soon after, the group burst into laughter.

Paula dropped next to her and heaved a sigh of relief."Thank God I got here quicker!I swear I'm so sick of Heather the slut and her group.One day I'll...I'll...I'll...Aaaargh!I just hate her guts!"She whispered angrily.Paige giggled as she stared at her friend's angry face.It was all red and bloated.

"Cut it out!It's not funny!" She hissed as she glared at Paige causing her to laugh harder."No!Your face is funny!"She replied as she laughed harder.Paula folded her arms on her chest before a sly smile grew on her face."Funny?You think my face is funny?How about I show you funny?"She said as she tried to reach for her bestfriend's but Paige was faster as she jumped to her feet and ran towards the exit.

An arm caught Paige before she got to the exit."Caught her!"Chase shouted as he held her still.Paula's face grew into a dirty smirk as she drew closer to them."Let me go Chase, she's getting close!"Paige begged as she tried to free herself from his strong grip."I'm sorry!"She squealed as Paula ran in slow motion for dramatic effect. A giggle escaped from Paige's lips as she watched her bestfriend.

"It's too late for that lousy sinner!Today you receive your judgement!"She said in a deep voice that sounded funny." Tickle fest!"She continued causing Paige to scream.Chase held her in place, as Paula had her way with her by the time she was done with her, Paige was left in a giggling mess.

After school, Paige jumped into her car and headed home for a shower and a change of clothes.Lorenzo had agreed to meet up at her place after his mother embarrassed him and he had made her swear not to tell anybody his nickname or else Chase would have two broken legs.

After a hot shower, Paige changed into a baggy shirt that had peace written on it and her cutout jean shorts.She decided to leave her wet curly hair to airdry after combing out the knots.After half an hour, she heard the doorbell ring.She rushed downstairs to answer it but Abby had already beat her to it.

"Are you her new boyfriend?" Abby asked as she stared up the tall man causing him to laugh but before he could answer, Paige pushed the door closed."What are you doing?"She hissed at her little sister.Abby stared back at her innocently "Talking to your new boyfriend."She answered causing Paige to groan before she kneeled down and placed her hands on her little shoulders."He is not my boyfriend, Chase is okay?Now go to the livingroom and watch TV."Paige said sternly before standing to her feet and opening the front door.

"Boyfriend huh?!" His deep voice drawled causing Paige to blush deeply.She shuffled from one foot to the other awkwardly.Lorenzo took in her beautiful form.Her curly hair hung past her lower back, looked soft and shiny.His fingers itched to feel it's texture.He took a step closer to try and get a whiff of her Vanilla scented shampoo, but she took one away from him.

"Come in!" Her voice croaked as she swiftly turned to lead him to the dinning room.She didn't want to lead him towards her room because, it would feel intimate to be in a room alone with him.Lorenzo took a seat next to her and accidentally rubbed his leg against hers causing her to jump in her seat.

They sat there for five minutes without saying a word."Aren't we going to start?"Lorenzo asked as he leaned in closer to her.She smelled so good, he couldn't deny it.Paige shuffled away from him, his close presence was causing her to go dizzy.

An hour and half later, Paige was getting a migraine.Lorenzo was one of the most confusing guys she had ever met.One minute they were getting along well and the next minute he was abusing her intelligence.He was proving to be way smarter than she had thought."Fine! You do it yourself since you think I'm wrong smartass!"Paige growled at him as she pushed the book towards him.Lorenzo grabbed it and started to scribble in it, as Paige tried to steal a peak in it, he hid the book from her.

"I'm home!" Patricia Moore called out as she entered the house.The house was unusually silent.She removed her coat before walking into the living room and found two of her children busy reading."Hi guys I'm home!"She whispered only to be shushed by her youngest."Paige's new boyfriend is here, we don't want to bother them!"Abby whispered back.

Patricia walked into the dinning room to find two teenagers heatedly arguing.She cleared her throat causing the two youngsters to stop and stare at her."Well, I see we have a guest for dinner Paige, don't we?"She asked expectantly, causing Paige to groan in frustration.
