a quite number of people struggle with making a suitable moodboard/character aesthetic for their characters. so here's a small tutorial to help you. this will be on a 6-image moodboard (however you can follow this for any other type of moodboard)

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

step I - find an app from where you can get good quality, aesthetic images for your moodboard, like Pinterest, WeHeartIt, Tumblr, Google etc. I use Pinterest because it offers a lot of aesthetic images and it's not very complicated to use.

step II - you might also struggle with finding suitable good pictures ON the app, so here's a tip. if you're looking for something particular, type it in followed by "photography" or "aesthetic". that usually does it. besides that you can follow up other accounts where you can easily look up and find stuff as such.

step III - after finding and saving all the suitable photos you can move ahead. personally I feel all the photos in the moodboard should fall in the same theme. and while working on it, don't JUST focus on the color scheme. make sure all your character's traits are portrayed.

step IV - now open Picsart. tap on the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. scroll down and select the grid option.

step V - then select all the photos you saved for your moodboard. Picsart offers a number of features for the moodboard; different sizes and different layouts. so you have many options to choose from. you can also delete/unselect photos if you want.

step VI - after choosing on a layout, you can mess around with the other features, such as border, background and color, till you get something that you like
