SELECTING COLOURS
when making a cover (or a graphic), make sure to use bold colours, that pop. they are more eye-catching and make your cover stand out.
and for the font, I personally like, the conventional black and whites look amazing. they give a more professional look to the cover and look aesthetically pleasing. besides, in black and white, the text appears clear to the readers.
but of course, exceptions can be made. and playing around with colours and tones is exactly what will give you the best idea for do/don't. so yes, play around and see what suits you.
