KATs POV

Being stuck next to a mopey teenager isn't that bad, but when that mopey teenager is Bella Swan, well someone is going to get a broken nose, and it is not going to be me. We had been on the road for several hours now, Bella had called her mother and left her a message about leaving Forks, yada yada yada, when we arrived at the motel we would be staying at I practically flew out the car. I could hear Jasper laughing at my behaviour, but this isn't the best situation to be laughing in, with wannabe barbie hot on our tails. 

"So remind me why I'm here and not leading the tracker away with the rest of the clan?" I ask still confused, I was the one who got a hit on him, why not leave me where we know he is and finish the job? Alice skipped her way over too  me being the cute pixie that she is. 

"well obviously Jasper wouldn't let that happen, so he suggested that you tag along with us incase James realises our plan and changes course, so far he hasn't and we can hope he stays on the same path." Alice told me, I knew she was wrong though, I should really start telling people about what I know, but then again it could potentially break the dimension. I grimaced at the though of destroying my mates world and Alice saw the look on my face. "what's wrong?" she asked 

"Ughhhhh It's something that if I told you, I could potentially kill all of you, and fulfil many peoples wishes...lets just say it all doesn't go to plan.." I tell her in as much detail as I possible could without letting her know too much. 

The boys enter the motel with us, carrying the luggage, we've packed light and if needed I can just create a door. whilst waiting for them I thought over my training with the bureaucrats, how they taught me to hone my Perks and some advance combat skills they collected over the infinite amount of dimensions.

 They had told me that if I directly spoke about what happens in their dimension it could potentially cause the dimension to implode, but seeing that I had found my mate in this dimension I would be very unlikely for it to happen according to the laws that have been put in place. None of it made complete sense to me but I was willing to listen to them, they seemed to know more about everything than I did. 

Jasper came up to me after checking in, breaking me out of my trance. 

"You alright?" He asked me, and for the first time since this has started I got to properly look at him, with all the rushing around I had forgotten how beautiful he can be, the southern drawl made him a thousand times sexier but altogether he was beautiful and I could feel the ache in my chest that longed for him, I felt blessed he was my mate. 

"Um...yeah, yeah I'm fine just lost in thought, how are you?" I asked him back. He chucked, wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me towards the room we would be sharing with Alice, Richard and Bella. 

"Under the circumstances I'm alright, worried but alright." he confided in me. I looked up at him with a confused expression.

"what is there to be worried about, Bella is away from Forks and that well pampered lunatic, so far things are looking up." I hoped to give him false hope, I didn't want my mate to be worried about anything. 

"we still don't know that but I like the optimism." he smiles down at me and kissed my forehead. We reached out room door and opened it to reveal Alice and Richard cuddled on the sofa and not visual sign of Bella. 

"Where is whiney pants?" I asked getting a chuckle out of the boys and a chastising look from Alice, I thought I had made my distaste for her clear, and there was no way anyone was changing my opinion. 

"She's in the bedroom on the phone to Edward... it doesn't sound good" Alice informed us, all the colour drained from my face as things started to fall into place, I knew this would happen but I didn't expect it to be so soon they did not give his tracking skill as much credit as they should. Jasper noticed my face and the worried look on my face and squeezed my side for encouragement. 

A day passed and no new news on the James front, we knew that Victoria was still around but didn't seem to be posing a threat....just yet, but no one but me knew that.

Then came the day of Alices vision, Bella's mysterious phone call and disappearing act, I had been lost in thought and didn't notice the familiar scene of the others checking out and leaving Bella to sneak off. Thats when I created a door way too the ballet studio and told the others to meet me there, not to mess up the narrative of the dimension by having them go through the door. 

Walking into the studio I realised I was early, either James had gone to hunt on some poor soul or just hadn't arrived at the studio yet. I headed into the back room where the tape would be and hid in it waiting for James to arrive. 

15 minuets later the door knob jiggled open. I used the perk of not invisibility but basically invisibility so whoever was entering wouldn't notice me. The light created a silhouette so I couldn't make out who it was, for all I knew I was about to drop kick the janitor. 

as they moved more into the closet I could make out the wired pony tail James had and did the first thing that came to my mind....

"CROTCH SHOT!" I shouted and swung my leg into James crotch, lucky thanks to my training, and the fact that I'm not human, I am able to even make a dent on a vampire as the lore of the dimension doesn't affect me. James curdled in on his recently damaged pelvis, groaning in pain. 

I quickly made a door to the entrance of the ballet hall. In a flash James was in the the door way of the cupboard, a look of thunder on his face. 

"YOU!" He exclaimed "you're not even a vampire how are you able to lay a dirty mortal hand on me?!?" I only had to laugh at his ideology that mortals where dirty compared to a damed being that is him. "HOW DARE YOU LAUGH!" 

"Who do you think you are, royalty? You're acting like I should bend down and kiss your feet, witch by the way I ain't gonna do." I sassed him, his demeanour was getting on my nerves.

"You should bow to me mortal! I am above you in every aspect of the way," He droned on and I had, had enough. 

"ok I've had enough out of you, now it's not my job to kill you but I will beat you up enough that you wish you were dead." I smirked and that last remark had sent him over the edge as he launched himself right at me. heh he stupid. I took a step backwards and shut the door leaving him to smash his face in it. From the other side I heard an animalistic growl and a heavy thump against the door causing me to laugh. 

I summoned another door to appear behind him, when I opened the door I heard the pitter patter of light, clumsy, footsteps. This distracted me and caused my guard to be down just for a second but that second gave James the upper hand as he punched me in the face. I was catapulted across the room and into a pillar. All the wind was pushed out of my body. I felt a hand grab the collar of my shirt and next thing I know I was launched through the air only to land on another pillar. My vision was blurry, I struggled to lift my hand. 

"Do you understand now you mortal, I am more powerful than you, no magic you possess will ever compare to the god that I am!" James whispered into my ear as he then slammed my head down on to the floor, denting and cracking the floor boards. 

The last thing I hear is the sound of Bella's mother calling for Bella before I black out.
