Chapter 1 : Flashback

I live on the now zombie infested planted Earth in my hometown Pensacola, Florida. Up until 5 years ago this actually used to to be a pretty lively place to live. It is now just a zombie wasteland, a nightmare version of what it once was. If your not a brainless carnivore at this point, your one of the not so lucky couple handfulls of people that somehow survived this.

I happen to be one of those people. my name is Carson, and Im not going to let this defeat us, I can't just let these undead run around infecting what little is left of us. I'm going to fight back. I know I can't do it on my own, but maybe there are still people out there...... Maybe theres a way to bring things back to the way they were.

I don't know why some of us are still alive. Maybe we were immune to the virus. I will leave this as a guid of sorts so that if I may die my plans have hope to be continued. A lot of shit went and turned for the worst. I remember it like yesterday. (News man on TV) Today May 17, 2045 in HollyWood California a scientist by the name of Dr. Larry Grim has found a cure for cancer. Dr. Grim and his team of expert scientists and doctors have tested this antivirus on over 100 patients so far and over 98% of them tested negative for cancer after three weeks.

Everyone was happy, family members got to live longer, and dieing patients who had only days were saved. Everyone that had cancer most likely got the antivirus. I mean who wouldn't the antivirus was life saving. Dr. Grim was already rich so he sold the antivirus to hospitals for really cheap prices, so the country's made getting the shot around $25 per-shot! It went on like that for years and so far no side-effects, anyone who got cancer now or later in life got the antivirus.

It was all happy go lucky untill July 22, 2050 hospitals all over the world were booked with cases of fevers, massive vomiting and heart failures. A few days later a hospital in my town had the police called to it. The nurse that called was screaming frantically. "The patient died and a few seconds later the patient got up and attacked the doctors." She screamed "Help he's eating me." Then nothing. The police arrived but the damage had already been done the cops were overrun by flesh eating zombies.

The UN (aka) The United Nations got calls from all over the world of massive groups of people attacking towns and city's. The military was sent in to control It but after only days they too lost the war. People, animals, and house pets, all got this disease and now were looking for food. Thousands and thousands of zombiefied people were attacking and all hope was lost.

After a while the calls of distress stopped most people died and the ones who were left alive would be dead soon welcome to the new world.
