Chapter 7: Home Base

      We made it back to our house unharmed. We set up the generator in the basement so the noise wouldn't attracted zombie we put all the filled gas cans down there as well to. Another tip (gas cans are good for an escape. If you are overrun by zombies in your house and you cant find a way to kill all the zombies. Grab a gas can or two and pour it all out then light a match and run about 15 seconds later your house will go BOOM!!!) We barricaded all the windows and the back door up with the wood we got. We put two locks on the front door and an alarm system it was the only way in or out of this house now. We also left the two windows facing the street upstairs halfway unbarricaded so we could snipe zombies and see if the close was clear.

     The next day I woke up and heard Kylee in the shower a few minutes later she came out in nothing but a towel she looked so sexy with her dripping wet black hair, beautiful pail but not to pail skin tone and her beautiful shoulders. She took of her towel to expose her whole body. She wasn't supermodel skinny but she wasn't really big either. Her body figure was perfect and amazing, all i could do was just stare blankly at her. Her beauty was astonishing.

   "What?" She said making me realize I was staring to hard. "Nothing, I just haven't seen a girl in quite some time, and your pretty damn gorgeous" I said. She smiled and started to blush. "Ok well stop staring your making me feel shy, now get up an get dressed your gonna help me remodel the house." "Why we don't even know if we are gonna stay here." I said and she replied with "because I said so."

     I slipped into a pair of black jeans and a Zero T-shirt and Kylee wore a pair of pink skinnys and a lowcut black V-neck T-shirt. "What size if you don't mind me asking" I said. "Pants, shirts or dresses" she said. "Nether, bra" I said she gave me a look. "You don't have to answer, that's why I said if you don't mind me asking" I said. She stood there laughed then said "Ah no." She laughed again at the look on my face then said "Come on stop acting like you 16, your an adult so let's get to work." "Oh by the way how was taking a warm shower for once?" I asked her "Amazing, im glad you thought about the generator" "No problem" I replied.

      So we spent the day painting the house and putting in new carpet. The furniture in the house was really nice so we kept it. We found a map in an office space of the house and decided to mark off places we knew didn't have any zombies. We marked the gun store and Walmart we didn't mark out the Home Depo. because we didn't kill all the zombies there. So then I decided that we needed more guns and ammo so I told Kylee. "Stay in the house and if she saw any zombies outside grab the sniper rifle attach the silencers and......" "Yeah yeah yeah i know the rest." she said interrupting my sentence. "I'll take shadow with me I'll be back in a hour." I said "Oh i forgot to say it earlier but theres a cellar in the store where we keep special ordered weapons and extra ammo just please come back safe." She said then gave me the passcode to the cellar then threw herself into my arms and kissed me. We said our goodbyes and I was on my way.

         I got to the gun store and decided to spray paint the van. When I got done on both sides of the van were red letters that spelt out The Dead Hunters. Satisfied with my work I went in the store and grabbed 9mm pistols, Magnum Revolvers, Colt45s, AK47s and some pin and stick grenades, I went to the cellar door to put in the passcode but when i got to the panel I realized it had been broken but i went in anyways hoping there would be something left. Boxes of different shapes and sizes were tossed on the floor but some were still on the selves on the walls. I looked in a box on one of the selves nothing I looked in a another box next to it but nothing I started to lose hope. "Maybe this place got picked dry while we were gone?" I said to myself. It looked like a place of disappointment the room was dark and only lit by a single dim lightbulb hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room. I looked in the next box I found in it was an AA-12 (which is an automatic shot gun) a P-90 (witch is a submachine gun), and some extra magazines. I looked in the next box in it I found two Desert Egales one pink and the other black underneath the guns I found a note this is what it said.

Dear; Carson and Kylee

       This is Jack if your reading this you found the guns the pink one was my wife's and the black one was my dads. They make good zombie killers. I'm sorry I picked the place dry before i left town, but I left y'all some guns and the two gifts Im giving you this is the first and the other is in a big box in the right corner of the room. I wish you kids the best and hope we see you again.

       P.S. I also left you all the ammo the store had and i left you a lot of the ammo I had for the big guns I hope you enjoy them.

       I smiled, closed the box, and went to open the big box in the corner. Inside was a mounted 60cal. Machine gun and a Rocket launcher. I grabbed the two biggest guns and put them in the van. Next I went and grabbed the guns and all the ammo that was there then I headed back to the van. When i got in the van i was wondering if Kylee was ok I hoped she was. Ive only been with her for a few days now, but I already felt really close to her and id hate to loose her to those mindless fucking freaks of nature. After sitting there for a few seconds i noticed that the sun was getting lower in the sky so I started the van and went home.
