A glowing sword pierced through Joan's armor and skimmed through his waist. He retreated a few steps and kept his stance before facing the attacker. A green hair female was the owner of the sword. Inspecting for a few more moments, Joan realized the girl with long green hair was a male. "Enkidu, the weapon of the gods. One who can match in power with King Gilgamesh himself. Noble Phantasm is Enuma Elish and the Age of Babylon. Parameter... All unknown except Noble Phantasm... A++." Enkidu merely chuckled when his identity and status were revealed. "True Name Discernment, you must be Ruler right? I am not the false lancer Enkidu. I belong in this time period."

"Are you saying that you are not a servant?" Joan questioned and Enkidu responded, "yes, I am not a servant. The holy grail had reincarnated me into this body so I technically should not be considered as a servant anymore. However, there is one thing I want to request you. I do hope you would stop disturbing Uruk's citizens." He smiled cruelly once more before putting his hands on the pavement. Golden piles of dust gathered and formed ten weapons. They floated in the air with a ferocious glint. Another twenty weapons were formulated and lifted from the ground. Seeing Enkidu was attacking, Atuv spoke up, "Enkidu-sama, this man threatened us slave traders and freed one of the slaves." Atuv had started ranting to Enkidu, "look what he's done to my face!" While Enkidu listened to Atuv's tattletales, Joan had quickly broken the weapons with his flag. However, he found golden chains tightening around his body the moment he escaped the danger. "Enkidu, you-!" The other male merely shook his head and smirked, before pulling his gold chain at an incredible force. Joan was swept to the ground and dragged away. His body was pulled into the gates in a forceful way.

People, wide-eyed, stared at the limp body sliding into Uruk. Joan attempted to break the chains but they were simply too strong. This made him question what the Chains of Heaven [Enkidu] were actually made of.  A few seconds later, the heavy city gates of Uruk swung back close heavily, giving creaks and cracks during the process. As the gates fully met each other, signaling its closure, the chains dismissed themselves back into their air with a flick of Enkidu's wrist. "Sorry about that..." His demeanor completely took a different turn. "I had to act a bit strict or those people simply won't behave properly."The one with beautiful green hair closed his soft eyes and sighed. He continued to speak, "I am ashamed to even recognize them as citizens of Uruk. I apologize on their behalf and my violent suggestions." Ruler accepted Enkidu's apology, "It is fine, I am sorry for my disrespectful actions as well."Joan smiled at Enkidu. "Furthermore, I am servant class Ruler, summoned by the holy grail. My saint graph identity is Joan d' Arc. Nice to meet you Enkidu."  Enkidu responded with a likewise before leading Joan further into Uruk. The chain of heavens relaxed, feeling safe to tell Joan more about what had happened. "Since servants of the counterforce were no longer listening... I shall tell you about the counterforce" The male confessed, "They are the ones who affected history and created this singularity." Joan was surprised, "A human destruction force exist?" Enkidu nodded, "Yes... They have had a long history with the human order. Uruk can remain peaceful for only a short moment before breaking out into chaos. This is due to my companion, Gilgamesh's death." Enkidu recited the dreadful truth. A moment of deadly silent occurred. The ruler class servant's face turned ghostly white.  Joan's lips quivered as he was too shocked to speak of a single word.

"His death happened a day ago. Right after the order to release Melammu Dignir, Gil died of mana exhaustion. Usually, he would have no trouble releasing it a few times in a row and he always kept his guard high. So I predict it was a slow cause planned before Gil ever had the chance to protect himself. My death was supposed to be before Gil's death according to the tablet. I was wondering how I survived for such a long time until the solution of a lost belt.  I am now held to become the King of Uruk." Enkidu confirmed something Joan would never want to hear once again. The male who repeated such a harsh truth stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the now frightened other. "The rest I'll explain to you at the King's Palace." He walked up the stairs leading to the entrance of the Ziggurat. Step by step up the cold freezing stairs the king would once sit and look at the views of his great creation. Where he would laugh heartfully with a goblet of wine as crimson as Christ's blood. But the king was now gone, gone forever. His existence, his body, his warmth disappeared. Enkidu would not cry, for he knew Joan was the only one who could bring Gilgamesh back and destroy the counterforce's evil plan.  They reached the throneroom very shortly. Siduri was waiting inside, "Enkidu-sama!! You finally returned! And this is?" The ex-assistant of King Gilgamesh asked. "He is called Joan and will be assisting me in the future." Siduri simply nodded at Enkidu's words. "I have gathered Inanna(Ishtar)-sama's mana and Ereshkigal-sama's allowance as the Mistress of the Underworld. However, Goddess Inanna is now going crazy. Her sister, Ereshkigal-sama cannot confirm King Gilgamesh's existence in the underworld "

The king's friend looked serious. "This means Gil was killed by interference from outside this time period. My predictions were right." He then turned to Joan. "The grail must have summoned you to solve this singularity. Therefore, I have a request for you. I am going to use all Uruk's mana and my connection to Gilgamesh to send you back, way before the Singularity, before Gil had ever met me." Enkidu rested his two hands before King Gilgamesh's throne and focused very hard. It shone brightly, successfully resulting in the other two blocking their eyes.  "Enkidu-sama! Isn't it a bit too soon to carry out the plan? We have not yet gained Ishtar-sama's permission yet!" Siduri exclaimed at what Enkidu was carrying out.

"We have no more time to waste. Let the goddess be, asking for her permission probably wouldn't help a single bit either. Since Ereshkigal has agreed, there are no more problems."Enkidu signaled the saint to sit on the throne fast. The male followed the order and rested on the glowing throne. "Joan of Arc, I beg of you, please protect Gil at all costs and figure out the cause for his unusual death. Gil might be a little violent and really arrogant at first but bear with him. His life is the survival of Uruk, the survival of human order. I wish you luck as you might encounter extremely difficult hardships. With that, I shall start the process.

"Enkidu, King Gilgamesh's companion, and friend offer thine, Joan of Arc's soul and spirit to the greatest city of Babylon. The age of Mesopotamia shall backflow under King Gilgamesh's Dignir. He is the one who shall walk along with Uruk towards the very end. He is the one who must not forget. This is a journey which decides on Mesopotamia's future."

The pavement and walls started cracking open due to Enkidu's chant. And everything in the throne room was covered in blazing white. The entire city dimmed in comparison with the light leaking out of the temple.
