Since the news broke out that Damon is dead this school has been a total ghost town. People are afraid to talk to one another. They won't accepte the fact that he's gone.
Well, I guess this is the first stages of grief: denial.
"Are you ready to go?" Isabelle said from the doorway with Serria next to her. Sine this year started my life has bee pretty shitty, and I'll get to that later, but having Isabelle and Serria as friends have made it less shitty. "Yeah," I tell them as I placed the guitar back where I got it from and grabbing my book bag.
"So birthday boy. What are your plans for today?" Serria asked me.
"How did y' all know it was my birthday?" I asked them. I don't remember telling them because I'm really dreading this day. "Well, I have special powers," Isabelle says wiggling her fingers in the hair. Serria and I stopped in the middle of the hall and looked at Isabelle.
"Fine, I stole your ID" she admits.
It's sad that the one of the happiest' day of my life falls on the day we discovered a classmate was found dead this morning. "Nothing just hanging out with two friends, "I tell her. They both looked at me funny. "What!?"
"So you have no plans for today," Isabelle questions
"Yea"
"Well, good then," she says
"Why is, me being a loner on my birthday a good thing?" I asked her with humor in my voice. "Because I have something plan all ready for you," she says. Now curiosity fills me up. As we walk outside people are crowding around Damon's parking space holding candles.
I turn to see Isabelle roll her eyes at the notion. We walk to her red Mercedes Benz truck. "Shotgun," I called out
