The bell rang, signalling that school was done for today. Our math teacher slammed a math textbook on the table, earning everyone's attention. "Remember, kids. Next week is exam week. Start preparing for the tests from today and make sure you get good grades."

Most of my classmates groaned, "Yes, Mr Cha."

I sighed as I leaned back on my chair. It was only five days until the examination week.

That means I have to study all day and all night, or else my parents would ground me.

Since two days ago, Jungkook and I haven't talked anymore. I didn't have time to call him or chat with him outside of school, but when I do, he wouldn't answer my calls or reply to my texts. Instead, he'd reply when I was home, when I couldn't touch my phone anymore. Because of that, I didn't have a chance to explain my situation.

When I was walking out of my school, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I was happy since I thought it was Jungkook, but then again, I shouldn't hold too much hope.

I slid the answer button. "Whaat?"

I heard Taehyung's deep chuckles from the other side. "Hey, let's go to Gloss Cafe!"

I groaned. Even though I wanted to, I couldn't. If my parents knew, I'd be so dead. "Tae, you know I can't."

"Gloss Cafe is the cafe Jungkook works at. Are you sure you don't wanna see him, Sunny?" I couldn't see him but I was a hundred percent sure that he was wiggling his eyebrows as he said that.

I just rolled my eyes.

Of course I do, you tweedle-dumb.

"I can't, Tae. Maybe after my exams."

"Just tell your parents that you're staying late in school to study!"

My eyebrows twitched. "What if they find out?"

"They won't, trust me. As long as you're with me, you'll be fine. I spread good luck to everyone, you know."

I laughed, this guy sure has his ways to lure someone. "I guess... it wouldn't hurt to try, right?"

"So you're coming?" He asked with a tint of excitement on his voice.

"Yup."

"Yes! I'll be waiting here on our seat when we last met Jungkookㅡ"

"Dude, you're already there?"

"Mhm. I know you'll come."

I shook my head in disbelief. "You sure are one confident guy."

"It's good to have confidence, not too much though."

"Okay, whatever. See you in half an hour!"

"Half an hour?! That's too long!"

I groaned. "I'm walking there, Tae. I ain't speedy."

"Five minutes."

"Fifteen minutes."

"Ten."

"Fifteen."

"Okay, whatever floats your boat. Don't ditch me!"

"Yeah, yeah. Bye!"

I ended the call and dialled one of my maids, saying that I'd be coming home late because I needed to study with some friends at school. I then ran, following the directions in my head. After running for probably a bit more than fifteen minutes, I could see the cafe's building. I was already sweating and panting for my life.
