"Hey, so you're the famous Alanna Greene huh?" Stone asked, sitting next to me.
"Yeah." I answered, kinda confused.
"Eddie talks about you. A lot."
"Really?"
"Yeah. That song Black, he wrote it about you."
I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 7:30, not really giving myself enough time to get ready. I quickly got dressed, and took my hair out of the braids they were in yesterday. I put on my docs, grabbed coffee and left for work.

I drove to the store with Would? by Alice in Chains as loud as it could go, playing on the local radio station to wake me up.
When I pulled in about 5 minutes later, there was already a shit ton of people there, obviously to see Pearl Jam. I've never seen it this crowded before. I had to pull my car around the back, there was no way I was getting in the front entrance.
"Morning." Steve said as I walked in.
"Morning. Damn, I didn't expect it to be so crowded."
"Yeah, they're pretty popular around here. Have you heard their record? They're pretty fucking good" He said, going through some inventory.
" Yeah, they're incredible." I smiled, throwing my bag on the couch.
"Go meet them. They're pretty cool." He said, motioning toward the front of the store.
" Okay, cool." I tried to contain my excitement as I made m way to the front of the store where the band was setting up for a small set.
"Hey, are you Alanna?" A boy about my age with shoulder-length brown hair asked'
"Yup, it's so cool to meet you guys. I love your music."
"Thanks, I'm Stone, it's nice to meet you too. Oh and that's Jeff, Mike, Dave, and I think Ed went to get coffee or something" He smiled.
I smiled back. "Okay cool, let me know if you guys need any help setting up."
"Yeah thanks, that would be cool"
I spent about ten minutes setting up with the guys, till it was time to open. I was super excited to see them play a few songs, and maybe get to know the band a little better. They seem like pretty cool guys.
"Where the fuck is Ed, he should be back by now." Mike asked, tuning his guitar.
"Don't know but we have to play in five minutes, there's all these people here." Stone said. "Alanna's gonna have to fill in for Eddie." He joked.
"Haha very funny." I smirked, getting some shirts and CDs to sell upfront.
"Can you sing?" Mike asked, looking up from his guitar.
