Her body was moving to the rhythm of the song, hitting every beat but Lisa's mind was as scattered as ever.

Somehow, she knew he was the missing piece. Never before had she felt such a strong pull, an urge, towards anyone. And every minute she ignored, it only seemed to double in strength, nagging at the back of her mind.

The music ending struck her back to Earth, surrounded by ear-shattering applause. However, she had other tasks at hand. Breaking formation, she rushed to collect her things.

'Lisa!' Jae called behind her but she didn't respond. She had to find him.

***

'I'm sorry,' Lisa mumbled as she shouldered past a passerby, eyes scrambling around the room for any trace of the mystery boy.

Where was he?

She'd been searching for over ten minutes, with no trace of him.

Sighing in defeat, she texted for her friends. Lisa was nearly an hour ahead of schedule but she thought it wouldn't hurt if she was a bit early.

Several moments later, there was no reply. Was nothing going to work out for her today?

Making her way to the cafeteria was a simple task, even while she was furiously spamming her group. Lisa knew the place like the back of her hand. What she did not remember was the very large obstruction that she blindly crashed into like a fool.

Her already sour mood only got worse.

'What the f-' Lisa muttered profanities under her breath, glaring at the perpetrator.

'I'm sorry, I-' The man halted. Lisa glanced up.

She didn't know how she knew. But she did. It echoed throughout her, striking her senseless. Lisa's lips parted; her breath hitched.

Jungkook.
