'KIM TAEHYUNG, GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE.'
Taehyung cringed, subtly inching away.
'YOU HAVE THREE COUNTS, TAEHYUNG.'
Taehyung whined, now frozen in his spot, debating his next action.
'THREE.'
He took a step forward and then paused. If he didn't go, those girls will tear him apart. Literally. Physically. And mentally.
'Why me?' He whispered to himself.
'TWO.'
Taehyung groaned.
'ONE.'
He turned and ran. Towards her.
'What do you want?' Taehyung panted, breathing heavily. He rested his hand on his knees, crouching down. 'Ow, ow, OW-'
He stumbled after her, Chaeyoung pulling him by the collar. 'Jesus, woman, calm down!'
Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, continuing down the path.
It was well past 12 and everyone had left the buildings, preferring the air-conditioned cafeteria over the sweltering grounds on this hot day and some of the others had gone off campus for lunch.
That left no one to judge or throw them weird glances as Park Chaeyoung dragged Kim Taehyung to her slaughterhouse.

'You had one job.'
Taehyung sighed, getting more frustrated as each moment passed by. 'I know, okay? I was busy-'
'Doing what? Trying to get in some girl's pants?' Jennie piped, sounding disgusted.
'Excuse me?' He frowned, insulted. 'I take my friend's health very seriously, thank you very much. I was not with any girl.'
'Then why weren't you with him?' Jisoo crossed her arm.
'Do you know how close he got to her?' Chaeyoung asked incredulously. 'He was literally three metres away. Three.'
'Well, Lisa wasn't supposed to be there!' Taehyung pointed out defensively. 'We thought it would've been fine!'
'Speaking of 'we',' Jisoo started. 'We're going to have to talk.' She exhaled. 'All of us.'
'If all of us are together, then what about..' Taehyung wondered.
'We'll find a way to distract them.' Jennie said.
Chaeyoung shook her head. 'I don't think it's that simple. Do you guys realise why Lisa sat there?' She shifted on her foot. 'It was unconscious. She didn't mean to do it. She brought herself there. Without knowing it.'
Taehyung's eyes widened. 'I didn't realise the pull would be that strong. It should've been fading by now.'
'We weren't exactly following the instructions.' Jisoo admitted. 'They've had very close calls.'
A moment of silence. Then a knock on the door.
'Hello?' It was Lisa. The girls and Taehyung shared a panicked look. 'Girls, are you in there?'
Taehyung swore. 'I'm going to need somewhere to hide..'
'No shit, Sherlock.' Jennie rolled her eyes. 'Roseanne, can you..?' She gestured to the being that was Taehyung.
Chaeyoung nodded, understanding before snapping her fingers for Taehyung to follow. 'You better stay quiet.' A warning and a threat.
Jisoo and Jennie stood waiting for the signal. And then Jennie replied. 'Lisa?'
Jennie walked to the door just as Jisoo dived for the sofa, stuffing Taehyung's jacket under the chair.
'Hi, Lisa!' She called when she stepped into the room. 'Where've you been?'
Lisa looked at her weirdly. Jisoo never asked. Behind Lisa, Jennie was giving her a dangerous look. 'The library.' She plopped down on the couch. 'Was I interrupting the movie? I forgot my keys so I couldn't get in on my own.'
Jennie looked at her confused. 'Huh?'
The blonde gestured to the television. 'The movie?'
The other two eyed the screen. On it, My Little Pony was playing. 'Oh, yeah, yeah. No, you weren't interrupting.'
Lisa nodded and then froze as she heard a loud clunk from upstairs. 'What was that?'
Jennie and Jisoo shared a look. 'Chaeyoung,' the latter replied nonchalantly. 'Just dropping things, as usual.'
Just then, she appeared at the top of the stairs. 'Lisa!'
'Hi, Rosie!'
The older one skipped down. 'Have you eaten?' She reached her hand invitingly which Lisa accepted. 'Let's go outside to eat!'
The girls cheered, standing up. They were outside when Chaeyoung insisted for them to leave first.
'I forgot my purse,' she claimed, just before the door closed. 'Go on without me, I'll be right there.'
Jennie, catching on quickly, laced her arm into Lisa's and walked on. 'Let's go!'
Chaeyoung slipped inside and up the stairs. Snatching open the doors of her closet, she hissed at the boy inside. 'Out,' she ordered. 'And quickly.'
Scrambling out the small hideout, Taehyung mumbled incoherent words under his breath.
'What was that?' Chaeyoung raised her eyebrow.
Taehyung didn't answer, going downstairs. Chaeyoung huffed, before following him, grabbing her purse by the sofa. 'Your jacket's under the couch.'
'What?' Taehyung groaned. 'I just got that! It's disgusting down there, you guys sweep everything underneath it.'
'Shut up,' Chaeyoung said dismissively. 'Leave after I do. Wait for my signal.'
She opened the door and left, checking left and right. When the last group had gone down the hall, she knocked twice on the door and sped after her friends, not looking back.
Behind her, Taehyung slipped through the door.
