A sonnet is very hard to think of

Each line may take a few minutes or more

But it's a thing I really want to love

Even though writing them may be a bore

Iambic pentameter in each line

ABAB is found throughout it all

To make a sonnet that's truly divine

Follow these rules, or else Shakespeare will call:

"You're disgracing literature, you fiend!"

So many things to think about with this

If you mess up, he's bound to intervene

Trying my best, because if I do miss

All this work was for nothing, my dear friend

And there's a couplet at the very end

A/N: Aaaahhhh I hate it. But I wanted to try a sonnet, so... yeah.
