Grooms

We all look up to the professional riders, they have amazing horses and an amazing job, but without their grooms they probably wouldnt be where they are now

Grooms are a big part of the equestrian industry, they are very helpful and make sure the horses are in tip top shape for competition while even "babysitting" their riders 😂

But unfortunetly they dont get the attention they deserve. Sure the FEI gives out awards and there has been a huge growth in valuing a groom's job but there is still people who disrespect or see them as nothing more then someone who helps out a rider

If you have a groom or know one: thank them, tell them they are just as important to the equestrian industry as breeders and riders. Being a groom is stressful and tiring sometimes and these words can really make their day and keep them going ❤

Here are some top grooms I appreciate alot, and that you should totes follow them on Instagram because they are amazing:

Sean Lynch

Marta Masocco

Marta worked for Nicola Philippaerts then moved onto working for the Beerbaum stables! Shes a very famous groom among riders, and especially the equestrian photographers. Shes loves her job and the horses she work with

Alan Davies

Many of you know him! He is Valegro and Charlotte's groom, a very charismatic guy. He also won the best groom awards, and he deserved it

Imogen Mercer

Groom for australian eventer Sam Griffiths, she has worked for the Griffiths for around 8 years now. She has attended world cups, Badminton and even the Olympics

There are many others who deserve just as much praise and attention as their riders. Grooms are awesome
