Most will think the light is good
That it does suit the Heavenly mood
But most forget what light can be
How can hurt both you and me
Light can be both harsh and cruel
Within it only pure can rule
It casts out those who are wrong
Those who don't fit its "holy" song
Light is not all pure and whole
Corruption also takes its toll
Within the light evil can rise
And uses light to blind your eyes
Light does not define what's right
For even light will join a fight
To purify what's seen as bad
The only goal light's ever had
Light's not what it wants you to think
For even it is on the brink
Of holy war upon its brother
On a scale that's like no other
The light will always hate the dark
For their contrast seems truly stark
But light and dark are all the same
The only difference is the name
