Alyssa's POV:

While on my way to Brook's house, I heard shouting between her and her mother, Mrs.Saunders. Mrs.Saunders is a reporter for actor magazine, a magazine that interviews actresses & actors new and old. I've always admired her and work, because she gets to meet famous actors and actresses. Including Jenna Larson.

"OH REALLY? AT LEAST I ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT GOES ON IN THIS HOUSE MOM!"

"YEAH? WELL YOUR BROTHER IS OLDER THAN YOU! YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING HIM FIRST!"

"I DONT NEED HIS PERMISSION!"

"ACTUALLY, YOU DO!"

"WHY? BECAUSE HES OLDER?"

"EXACTLY WHY BROOKLYN!"

"whatever, I'm leaving."

"BROOKLYN MAY SAUNDERS YOU GET YOUR BUTT BACK IN HERE RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR ILL-.. oh.. hello Alyssa. I wasn't expecting you today." Mrs.Saunders quickly quieted down.

"Oh hello Mrs.Saunders.. I just came to hang out with Brooklyn."

"Of course, you guys may hang out in the backyard for now."

"Okay, thank you." I said as Brooklyn and I went inside.

"Hey Brook you oka-.. oh hey Alyssa." Chase, Brooklyn's brother, said as he looked at me.

"I.. Hey you- I- h-hi!" I stuttered like an idiot.

"Okkaaaaayyyyy.. we will get out of your hair right Alyssa?" Brooklyn nudged me.

"Y-Yeah.." I said softly as we headed to the backyard.

My heart always skips a beat around him.

"I know what your thinking."

"W-what?" I asked Brooklyn startled.

"Rather, I know who your thinking about.."

"Brook.."

"Listen, I know you like my brother. It's okay, if you want to be with him you can."

"B-be with him? I can't do that.. not yet! I barely know him. I mean, I know him through YOU, but I don't actually know him."

"Alyssa I'm just saying that I'm not going to stop you. He's only 2 years older than us, and even if he is my brother I don't control him. Do whatever you want."

"Thanks."

I was secretly glad that Brooklyn reassured me, I was worried she wouldn't let me date him. But remember, this isn't that type of story.

Okay, so maybe Brooklyn's right. I do like Chase, but I don't know how to feel about him yet. I mean, yes he's a really good looking guy, but he's also really nice. You don't get that many guys in the world like that. But I'm just not sure if I'm ready for that big of a commitment yet.

"I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of commitment yet, ya know? I would hate to hurt his feelings if I couldn't handle being his girlfriend.."
