SETH

The light was precious. The light was gracious. When I saw it, I dropped to my knees and crawled towards it. What was even better than the light was who stood in it.

Raven approached me. She wore a white sundress - the same white sundress that she had worn on our honeymoon. She had lost a little weight since then, but the dress still fit her nicely. She was barefoot, as if she had just spent the last few moments in the garden of our old house in Virginia.

"Well, you're a sight for sore eyes," I said. My voice was dry and raw. It was as if the tomb was making me human again, and restoring all of my basic human needs. "Where's Finn? If you're here, I assume that you and him won the war."

"No Seth," She took a step forward and lifted me to my feet. As an angel, she had superhuman strength, but I was sure that I was just extremely light. "Finn will not be winning this war, but the Council and I will. Listen closely now, I don't want to repeat myself. I don't want to kill Finn, but a lot of the other Council members want to. I need him to join our side, but he won't listen. But he will listen to you. Persuade him, and you will no longer be a ghost. I can restore your humanity, or I can make you a spirit in Heaven."

"And why would I do that? More importantly, why would you? Was it not Wynne who placed you, Finn and I in this tomb? She had me killed, Raven, and planned on sentencing our son to live out an eternity in here. I don't know what kind of trick she's using on you, but you need to see past it."

Raven hesitated for a moment, then pulled me in close. "I don't fully trust her, either," She whispered. "But she's growing on me. It's the only way to restore our family. Seth, Finn is using himself as bait to lure us in for a battle against Lucifer and his fallen angels. Wynne wants to follow through, but I don't. I can't take that risk with him. She's observing us right now, but not closely, so listen up. She thinks I'm letting you go so that you can join our ranks, but I'm really sending you to Earth. They're in Munich, Germany. Go there, send some kind of message to him, and then I'll bring you back. Your aura is much weaker than mine, so she won't be able to detect you amongst them. Now go." She led me out of the tomb, sealed it, and pressed two fingers to my forehead. My vision warped. One second I was standing in front of her, and the next I was in the lobby of a fancy hotel.

Up the stairs, third door on the right, Raven's voice popped in my head. A trail appeared before me, and I followed it. I passed through the door, and found myself in a luscious suite. Finn was bandaged and on the bed, and that Eva girl - who I had been informed was actually Lilith - was laying next to him. Another woman, who looked a bit younger than I was, sat on another bed unloading and reloading her gun. Finn had himself a dangerous crew here.

I had tried to inform him before, when he was in Pairs, by carving a message into the wall, but it had failed. I would have to try again, this time making sure that he knew it was me. I grabbed a knife from the suite's small kitchen, went over to the ceiling above Finn and Lilith, and began to carve.

Finn. I waited until he spotted it. He shook his head and turned to Lilith.

"I don't know how they got in, but they're trying so hard to get in my head." He placed a small kiss on her lips. I cringed at the sight of my son kissing a demon, as I knew all too well how persuasive demons could be, and kept carving.

Stay away from Jerusalem. Death awaits you. For the sake of your mother and I, please don't go. He still wasn't bothered by it. I sighed. Drastic times called for drastic measures. Using all of my strength, I jumped onto Finn, entering his body and thus possessing him.

Inside of him was horrifying. There was a harsh light representing his angel blood, a dull gray representing his humanity, and an overwhelming amount of darkness, representing the demon blood that plagued him. I didn't understand. It had been months since the blood had entered its veins. There was no way that it had survived and multiplied for so long.
