How you propose

Monica

You spend the night making dinner together, despite how much of a horrible cook you are. Flour ends up everywhere, egg shells all across the counter and crumbs spilt everywhere. You are shocked at how calm she is with the mess.

You both get changed into your dresses and eat the dinner you made. After the food, and a few glasses of wine, you suggest taking a walk to the park where you first met. She agreed and you walked hand in hand under moonlight.

She was shocked to see a picnic set up, accompanied with fairy lights, flower petals, candles and pretty much anything else romantic for that matter. Rachel and Phoebe helped you set it up. She turned around to see you on one knee. After a long speech you finally ask her

"Mon', will you marry me?"
"Of course!"

"Does this mean that you are going to try and one-up my dress?"
"Well, obviously"

Rachel

You give her your credit card and tell her she can take Phoebe and Monica out all day. You tell her she can buy anything she wants.

Whilst she is gone all day, you and the boys help set up something really romantic back at the apartment. They tease you for being so soft, but they are also tearing up near the end.

She walks in and drops all of her bags when she sees you on one knee holding a ring.

"Yes, Yes! A million times yes!"

"Honey, I know this isn't the right time. But how are we going to afford the wedding after today? I spent quite a lot"

Phoebe

You know how much she loves games and scavenger hunts. You leave her a letter at the apartment, telling her the plan for the day and how you have made her a scavenger hunt to follow.

All of the clues relate to things in your relationship, it was perfect. Just how you planned it to be.

She finally solved it and if was closing to midnight. She walked to the area you had decorated, her eyes already tearing up.

"Phoebe Buffay, will you marry me?"

Chandler

"Knock, knock"
"Who is there?"
"Will"
"Will who?"
"Will you Marry me?"

Joey

You book reservations to his favourite restaurant, you eat a 3 course meal and hide the ring in his cake. It reaches the time for the dessert and you are getting nervous, he eventually finds it. He picks it out, asking what it is. You tell him, but he's too distracted by the food.

"Joey, Joey, Joe?"
"Hmm?"
"The ring isn't edible."
"It has chocolate underneath the foil, right?"

Ross

You spell "Will you marry me?" From elements on the periodic table.

"Damn, I should of used that way of proposing to one of my ex-wives"
"...Ross"
