"You're ten minutes late."
Damian told her as she came out of the secret exit. She walked past him not sparing him a glance.

"Dollface?"
He called but she increased her pace, trying to get faster into her room.

He followed her into her room before she could close the door. She threw her bag across her bedroom and sat down at the foot of the bed.

"Bloom?" He called softly but he heard her whimpering. He saw a tear slid down her right cheek. He sat beside her and stared at her as she bit her lips to suppress the sound of her cry.

"Dollface, what's wrong?"
He leaned closer to her face that she kept down to hide the tears.

"Bloom?" He called again, getting worried.
She broke into heavy tears not holding back. He put one arm around her and she placed her head on his left shoulder, snuggling closer into his arms.

Damian sat there with her in silence and listened to the heavy sound of her cry. He wondered what happened to make her cry so much.

"Cry it all out, dollface." He whispered stroking her hair. It took some minutes before he heard her sniffling and calming down.

They sat in silence as the sound of her cry stopped. He looked down at her and found her sleeping, her face was stained with tears and eyelashes wet in tears. He grabbed his handkerchief and dried her face then laid her on the bed gently. He removed her shoes and pulled the comforter up to her neck.

His jaw hardened as he stared at her, he was ready to murder whoever made her cry. But he knew Bloom didn't want to share anything about her life outside the Valley House.

He sighed heavily and left the room.

Zayn drove back to his apartment, Taylor forced him to play video games without giving him an option.

He couldn't concentrate and Taylor cheered as he beat him in the first round. Her confession kept replaying in his head, he was happy she felt something for him but it wasn't enough. He wanted his sunflower back. Did he do the wrong thing leaving her hanging? Maybe she won't come back again.

"Hey!" Taylor nudged him.

"What?" he asked dryly.

"Everything okay, you've lost three rounds which is unusual."

"I'm not feeling it right now. I'm going to bed, goodnight."

He tossed the game controller at him and went to his room.

Bloom woke up the next day in a sour mood. She stayed in bed not answering anyone that came to her room. Damian gave up on getting her out of bed.

She felt stupid and hurt as she recalled what happened last night. She kicked her pillow and groaned.

"How humiliating, I should've kept it to myself." She whispered, raising her hands to her face.

"Okay?" She scoffed and laughed at herself.

"A girl confessed her feelings to you and all you could say was okay?" She said staring at the wall like it was his face mocking her.

"Then why did he kiss me? To mess with my head?" She groaned in frustration, kicking her legs in the air.

The door opened and Aunt Matilda walked in with a glass of milk and chocolate cookies on a tray.

"I said I'm not hungry." Bloom sighed.

"Don't be in that mood with me, young lady. You can be like that with anyone but not me."
Aunt Matilda said in a harsh tone. She put down the tray on her nightstand and sat next to her on the bed.
