V'S POV:

Getting in the car and driving home without Cole was strange, I know I'm not as close to him as the boys are but it seems like I've known him for much longer than the few weeks that I've spent in New York. Watching the scenery change from the scattered countryside to the crowded city gave me time to think about the past year and how my life has changed so dramatically. Around eighteen months ago I was living in a large house, very different to the small apartment I live in now, that was always busy - busy with family and friends, busy with music from my mom's sound system while she cooked dinner, busy with love and feeling in the air. Now, eighteen months on - I'm on my own, constantly cold and lonely - before I'd give anything for a second alone from my brother's antics and my parent's rules; at the moment I just want to give them all a hug and for everything to be the way it was.

I was shaken out of my thoughts when the SUV came to a violent stop; I don't know how Ben passed his driving test, on second thought he probably didn't even take it. Without pondering any further on the thought I jumped out of the car with a shake of my head. The electric buzz that went around this large garage before the mission,  had well and truly fizzled out, all of the members seemed lost without Cole - We all knew today was going to be difficult but at least we had a goal to work towards; we had nothing now. With no plan, I knew what I had to do and I needed to take things into my own hands. The plan I knew would not be favourable in the eyes of Ben or Alex so I quietly walked to the guest room I'd been given with the excuse that I needed time to myself.

Before I could execute the barely-there plan that I hadn't really thought through, like at ALL, I had to get some kind of information because I didn't have anything to go off of

Before I could execute the barely-there plan that I hadn't really thought through, like at ALL, I had to get some kind of information because I didn't have anything to go off of. I had a feeling that they were keeping something from me about what just went down. Marching towards Cole's office I processed my thoughts and worked out each dilemma like I was ironing over each wrinkle or crease in my father's dress shirts.  A warm glow trickled out the crack of the heavy oak door, "so someone is in his office" I thought out loud. Creeping closer to the wall I listened in to see if anyone was talking, "This is a bad idea, I know we should trust that Cole knows what he's doing but this is a suicide mission! For fuck's sake, Ben, I'm not sure this was smart. We've also got to babysit boss's 'sweetheart', I do not trust her - she has no idea of what she's doing!" Alex seemed mad about something, obviously, he must be talking about me as well. Taking a step forward to get closer to the door, a floorboard creaked under my foot, "what was that..." asked Alex, "probably just a cleaner" replied Ben's stressed voice. Ben continued "Look, mate, we needed a way into the Vicious Gang and now we have it! Cole will get a few beatings, get some information from our spies on the inside who haven't squeaked in a while then get out. Who knows, maybe he'll be in a good mood considering, and bring V's friend back as well. We've just got to wait it out till he gets back on his own accord or asks for backup, then we'll step in, but not any sooner." Oh. my. Fucking. God.  I cannot believe this! Cole is good, very good, but he has not got the same experience that I have with the Vicious Gang. Diablo is ruthless and so is his elder brother, the Don, Esqueleto. Pressing the back of my hand to my mouth, I slink back to my room - packing a burner phone, selection of weapons, protein bar (gotta eat hoe), torch and jacket In a small black backpack I jumped out of the window. lol, nope. Like a normal human being that CANNOT survive a jump through a window, I tiptoed through the endless corridors in the direction of the garage. "shit, security cameras..." I spoke under my breath, every garage In America has security cameras. "Balls to tha walls, ha." Again, nope lol sike bitch. Walking casually back to my room, I walked into my ensuite bathroom where For fuck's sake there better not be security cameras.
