I was really engrossed with the Moomin products that the store had on display. I even found a nice couple moomin keychain that I wanted to buy for Nana and I but when I was about to pay at the counter, but I overheard him and Jeno talking about buying matching keychain themselves.

I was hurt and disappointed.

Honestly saying, I was jealous. I was jealous at the fact that they did everything together whenever the group would go and and Jeno would always get clingy over Jaemin… and at times Nana would also do the same.

I thought everything was going to be the four of us hangout and talking but then the two always had a world of their own every time when they are together.

Being unable to think properly because of the sight, I made my way out of the store without telling them. Pacing my feet , I headed to the second floor, skipping the escalators and used the stairs instead which lead me to the area where several food stalls are placed.

“Renjun! Wait for me!

Turning around, Hyuck was chasing me the whole time and even almost tripped as he passed by several people. Catching his breath as his arms were on his knees supporting his weight.

“Hyuck--- What are you doing here?”

After regaining his disposition from running, he looked at me with concern.

Knowing Hyuck, he'll eventually bother me to end up knowing why I ran out of the store in sudden notice.

Hesitating a little, I looked around and gestured him to follow me. Thankful enough that Hyuck didn't bombard me with questions yet until we reached the other wing of the mall.

The area was like an indoor park, with  a couple of potted trees, shrubs and flowers; benches placed around the place and there weren't much people round, perfect spot to talk and vent out.

Once we've both settled down on an empty bench, it took us 5 minutes of dead air.

Hyuck waited for me to open up. “I need to tell you a secret Hyuck--- But you cant tell anyone about it”

Avoiding his gaze, I hung my head and gathered my thoughts.

“Jaemin and I--- We started dating recently--- After we made up from our misunderstandings---- “

“Wait--- WHAT?!” He gave a bewildered look.
“Injun is that why you ran out of the store?”

I would know that Hyuck wasn’t stupid to notice why I ended up leaving. As one of the people I would annoy and tease, he was indeed a good friend. Being not able to reply I simply nodded at his statement. Of course he would know.

“Does Jeno know?”

What a great question to stir me up.

“umm…. No—“

Personally I don’t hate Jeno. Were very close ever since Jaemin had a year’s rest due to his back condition, and I would spend most of my time with him. Being aware that he was indeed clingy around people he is close with.

Hyuck slouched on the bench, sighing deeply and laid his hand on top of my left leg, soothing it by means of comfort.

“You should at least tell him. He would respect that.”

“Hyuck--- I know, but this is Jaemin and Jeno we are talking about. They have been best of friends ever since middle school--- "

I get easily jealous because I really love Jaemin and its not that I don’t trust either the both of them. I’m scared because things might get complicated and we might stir up an issue.

The horror about being in conflict. I’m terrified what will happen to their friendship if Jeno would not be able to accept the both of us dating, plus I would never want to hurt a dear friend.

Deep in thought, I sighed and turned my direction to Hyuck, staring at him as I waited for his reply.

He gave me an assuring smile and patted my leg.

“ You’ll never know or nothing will happen if you keep worrying here right now Injun. It’ll eventually work out, just talk to them”

Squeezing my leg before getting up, he fixed himself and help me got up from sitting down.

Suddenly my phone vibrated in my pocket. Checking the mail, it was a message from Jaemin himself.

✨My Nana:

Injun where did you and Hyuck go? Me and Jeno are worried why you suddenly ran out on us.
Were currently at the food stalls, we’ll wait for you here.

Hnngghh-- I love RenHyuck Friendship a lot.💖 Both of those savage kids are my babies.
