Single Talk

You were sitting in Yuuma's room for the second time together with Len, for a serious meeting. It had been going on for almost an hour now and you were crossing your arms and Yuuma was mostly silent the entire time, his puppy ears and tail were down as if he was getting scolded indirectly.

"Len, can't you take Gumi?" you sighed, already giving up.

Len groaned in reply. "She's not even my type, in fact she's the opposite of what I like."

"But that's where the chance is, isn't it? People say opposite attracts!"

Len groaned again, slumping his head on the table. "I don't want to date just someone I don't even like.." he said before turning his head towards me. "If it's y/n-chan, then I don't mind stealing you away from-"

Yuuma landed a hit on his head before he could say anything else. "Even if you're my childhood friend, I'm not letting you off the hook if you lay a hand on y/n-chan!"

"I-I was joking!" Len pouted. "Geez, such an old geezer."

You stared at Yuuma, somehow backing Len up for no reason. "But Yuuma, generally speaking you didn't even lay a finger on me yet."

Yuuma's face slowly flushed red when you pointed it out and he stared down to his hand in embarrassment. "T-t-that's because.." he fell silent, trying to look for words to complete his sentence. "T-that's because I'm scared that you're not r-ready o-or something!"

You smirked and you leaned forward, running a finger along his jawline slowly. "Really..?" you asked. "Wasn't it you who's not rea-"

Yuuma slapped his hand to your mouth in attempt to silence you but you gave a small kiss on the palm of his hand and his hand was gone just as fast.

Len coughed to distract the almost lovey-dovey atmosphere. "Could you please understand my single soul here for a bit?"

You grinned. "Not sorry."

"I'm starting to hate you right now, y/n-chan," Len gave you that dissatisfied glare. It was playful and you chuckled. You reached out and patted his soft, blonde hair like he was a pet. "Well, well. I did ask you to seduce Gumi, didn't I?"

"Like I said, I don't want her!"

"She haven't meet you yet so what if she falls for you instead?"

That made him thinking for a bit before he snickered. "I have too much fans already, of course I can't pick a favourite out of my garden of flowers~"

And you pulled his hair with that response. "Then just die single!"

"What did you say?!"
