Chim -Picking Up The Pieces

Chapter 2

Kimberley's Pov-

I hadn't realised I had fell asleep until I heard a slight knock at the door and a worried voice.

"Kimba you okay in there ?" Cheryl called

"Yeah sorry Cheryl I'll be 2 minutes ." I reply

"No it's okay take your time babe ."

I hear her footsteps wander off down the stairs . I start to wash, lifting my lifeless legs one at a time . I often wonder what it would be like if the accident never happened , perhaps me and Justin would be still as loved up as we used to be , perhaps id still have a good career . I go to call Cheryl but instead wait until I hear her footsteps coming back up the stairs .

Cheryl's Pov-

I make my way in to the living room with the king size duvet and the small singular one from the spare room ,I pull the two big sofas together and put them Infront of the TV . I throw the duvets on the sofa and neatly fix them then make my way in to the kitchen and raid the cupboards . They don't seem to have much food in .

"This won't do ." I mutter

I go to get the house phone and go to phone Jamie my driver but it rings just before I get to it .

"Hello Cheryl speaking ."

"Hello Madame I was looking for a sexy lady called Kimberley Walsh to make sure she's still alive " A familiar voice giggles

I decide to play along .

"I agree Miss Walsh is extremely sexy but I'm afraid your speaking to someone even sexier " I reply in a posh accent

We both end up in fits of Giggles down the phone .

"Right I'm calm I'm calm , is Kimberley okay Chez ,when you text you sounded worried ." Nicola replies seriously

"It's a long story but hey , if your out of your meeting you should come over "

"Hm I don't like the sound of that "long story " and yeah my meetings just finished actually , when should I pop round ?" Nicola asks

"As soon as possible but I need you to do me a favour "I admit

"Yeah sure what is it "

"Well I've set up a lovely comfy couch for us and I'm going to look for DVDs and I went to look for food but when I went in to raid the cupboards there was barley any food so can you pick up some food and a few bottles of wine and some shots please ?"

"Aw that's lovely of you chez but why so much alcohol haha"? Nicola questions

"Well we've not had a girly drink night in a while so we may as well make a day of it " I smirk

"Okay I'll nip to the stores and then I'll be over soon, see you then mwah ."

"See you then mwah, bye. " I cheerfully reply .

In the kitchen I spot a take away menu and I can't resist , there's a Chinese , Indian and a chippy one . I phone all 3 of them ordering a few from each .I go to the cupboards to get wine glasses and plates when I notice most are brand new . I take the stickers off and put them in the bin when I notice a smashed plate and glass in the bin . I've got a strange feeling in my gut but I choose to ignore it . I sit down at the kitchen table staring in to space when I realise Kimberley is still in the bath , I quickly go up the stairs and knock on the bathroom door .

"You still okay in there pet ?" I ask

"Em yeah could you help me get out now ?" she uttered

"Yeah sure two second and I'll go and get you Jammas and fresh underwear , oh Kimba can I borrow a pair if Jammas cause I'm still soaked ?" I added
