Acnologia's POV

Flying through portal after dimensional portal... I couldn't find her... I haven't sensed her anywhere...

Until...

'Yes! The next one, I sense her there. Hold on sister, I'm coming.'  My thoughts became hopeful as I flew toward the swirling portal. I could see a large pink building through it.

But then... It changed...

The location changed...

Into that dreaded place...

I couldn't stop as I flew through the portal at full speed. And as soon as I hit the ground my vision blurred, and I felt my body ripping itself apart and becoming bigger, deadlier thanks to the damned curse that dark wizard held over me.

I couldn't escape...

"Sister... I'm sorry..." Was all I could say before darkness and Madness over took me.

...

Leraina's POV

I woke up to an awful pain throughout my body. Everything burned and my vision was blurry.

I stumbled to get up, trying not to wake anyone up and went into my back yard. Falling to my knees and calming myself as the pain died down. I held my head as I searched for the cause, my body seemed perfectly fine, but I knew something was wrong.

I looked up at the moon wondering what was going on.

The moon seemed to speak to me...
  It always had...

  "Acnologia...?"

'What happened to my brother... What was the moon trying to tell me...'

"Leraina.."  My head snapped around; it was Mori, I must have wakened him up.

"Did I wake you? I'm sorry" I said concerned. He shook his head.

"No, I was awake.. what is Acnologia?" He seemed worried about me talking to the moon, but then again who wouldn't be, he barely knew me; and was the only host who now knew my secret. But so far he hadn't told anyone.

"Oh, well" I sat back in the grass "he's my twin brother, I think something's wrong with him.."

Mori seemed shocked that I had a sibling, but didn't say anything as he sat next to me. He looked up at the sky with me and we sat in silence for a little while.

"Sorry, I'm keeping you up Mori-senpai. You can go to bed I'll be ok" I told him, never taking my eyes off the moon.

He shook his head at me again. " It's alright, I usually stay up late to make sure Mitsukuni is fully sleeping. I stayed up because you kept turning and muttering in your sleep."

I glanced at him, a small smile on my face from his concern over Honey. "That's the longest sentence I've ever heard you say Senpai" I giggled and returned my gaze to the heavens. "Did I say anything weird?"

He smiled a little at my comment. "No nothing too strange, you talked about feathers for a bit." I laughed at that. I turned to him " Do you wanna see why?" I asked with a grin.

He looked and me and seemed to think it over, but nodded.

I stood up and brushed off my clothes. "Alright then, you ready to see something magical" He nodded again, and I unfurled my wings before he said anything else. Letting them stretch out and leaving a large shadow across the ground.

I glanced at him, he seemed frozen, his mouth was agape and his onyx eyes wide. He looked filled with wonder, and it shocked me a little.. 'he was pretty cute like this... NOOO, bAd Leraina.'

I giggled and held out my hand to him. "Well? What do you think Mori-senpai? Pretty cool right?"

He nodded and looked at my outstretched hand. He looked at me quizzingly, at which I rolled my eyes, and walked behind him. I wrapped my arms around his torso, and I knew that he knew what I was about to do, but I didn't give him the chance to protest and I stretched my wings and up we went.

He didn't scream as I expected, but he grunted and held on to my arms turning pale. We flew up, up, and up until we could see all the town lights. At which I stopped, and flapped in place for a minute, letting him take in the view.

" Cool right? When I was little before I knew about my powers, I always wanted to fly, I wanted to be able to go anywhere at any time, at one point I even wanted to be a superhero. But now I'm here, in a world that's not my own, and I don't know how any of this works, I mean I crash-landed in a world I thought was fiction until now." I was whispering, but I knew he could hear me. I turned him around, at which he panicked, thinking I was dropping him. But I didn't.

" Calm down Senpai, I put a barrier under us, we can stand." And I stopped flying, landing lightly on the see-through barrier I had formed, him next to me.

He looked all around us, astonished at how clear the sky was and how bright the moon looked. He looked at the town below us, you could even see the school.

He looked down at me " yea, this is pretty cool" he whispered and smiled at me.

I smiled back " Maybe one day we can do this with Honey if he ever finds out about my powers." I laughed as an image of Honey bouncing around asking me to make him endless cake came to mind. He'd probably ask a lot of questions. I smiled fondly at the thought, I knew he was a teenager but I was a maternal person, he was so small and child-like I couldn't help but love him.

I glanced at Mori as he nodded and laid down looking at the land below us.

"Senpai?" I asked quietly "do you think I can be accepted, even as I am. I mean, I'm a nameless goddess who doesn't even know her role or know most of her life story. What if.. what if people hate me, and I can no longer live in this world, with the sky, the earth?" I was whispering now, scared of what he'd say.

But, he hummed and shook his head. "You're sweet, fun, and a little bit crazy. And I've only known you for a little while, but I know you'd do anything for people you care about. I think no matter what people will like you. And maybe you'll find out what your purpose is, and if you don't it's ok, just live your life how you see fit." He was quiet but I heard him and he continued looking below us.

I sighed and smiled before standing and stretching out. He looked at me. "Thanks, Mori-senpai, I've been really confused about how quickly things have been going and never have time to wonder like that. But thank you." I smiled at him as he stood as well. I held out my hand to him once again and this time he didn't hesitate.

He nodded and smiled as he took my hand, and I dropped my platform letting us fall back towards earth. Safely getting us back to my little house where all our friends were sleeping.

"Goodnight Senpai" I whispered as we settled back in. I heard a small hum in response from beside me before falling back asleep, no pain this time, but still a small uneasy feeling in my stomach...
