Wolf On The Inside

I can smell the sickening smell of blood and alcohol mixed with adrenaline. I can hear the footsteps of twelve running wolves. They're about a mile away. I hear their growls and evil laughs.

I hope I'll get to kill some.- my wolf was getting ready for a fight.

Oh me too... It's hard to admit, but I have so much anger bottled up inside that I feel like I'm going to explode.

If not for the potential fight I would have strangled Rose and Jane for telling everyone so much about me. I'd like my life to stay a secret.

I didn't wait for Alpha and the others to follow me I just went outside and waited in front of the forest.

Come rogues, come.

I felt my body starting to shake from rage, I knew my eyes started to glow purple.

Here they come!

I saw a big dark brown wolf jump at me from the bushes.

I grabbed his throat mid-air with one of my hands and snapped his neck. Then another one attacked me. After him another and another, and another...

It ended badly for them. I killed like three of them in the first two minutes before everyone from the house come outside and saw what was happening.

Once I ripped the heart from the fourth rogue I felt my mate near me.

- Get behind me before you got hurt!- he demanded using his Alpha tone.

He did not just say that.

I turned at him with my glowing purple eyes and growled :

- No!

And I ran to kill another rogue.

I saw everyone fighting turned into their wolf forms.

The fight lasted for less than five minutes.

Wow, these rogues were weak. There were 12 of them and 5 of us, Jane and Rose stayed inside. I killed 6 of them Tim killed one, Peter killed one and both alphas killed two each.

I took a deep breath in. Well, that's just what I needed.

- Jesus Christ Evelin! Are you alright? What was that! Girl, you were like Hulk,- Jane and Rose ran to me.

- Wolf in me comes with really huge anger issues, so yeah I guess I was like Hulk.- I giggled while trying to clean blood from my hands.

- Are any of this blood yours?- asked Rose.

- No, I'm fine, but go check on your mates, I'll go get some clothes for them.- I said and they nodded.

That's why I don't like turning into my wolf form. It leaves you naked.

I wouldn't mind seeing our mate naked though.-my wolf thought.

Pervert.

I grabbed a bag of clothes, we were ready for things like that and walked back to them.

Outside I saw two pack members already taking care of rogue bodies.

When everyone has dressed again, they headed back inside, but before I could go in my mate grabbed my hand and stopped me.

- Yes Alpha?

- Come with me.- he demanded looking angry as always.

I followed him deeper into the woods with him still holding my hand.

This little connection was killing me inside.

When we reached the river he stopped and turned to me.

- You disobeyed me.

- You're not my Alpha. - I calmly said. I was stating the fact.

He looked down to the ground and tightened his hold on my hand.

- I'm your mate.

- Are you?- I asked sarcastically.

- Look, Evelin, I'm sorry I wasn't the best mate to you. I am. I care about you. I realized how wrong I was about you, I don't think I can stay away from you anymo...

- Oh please,- I interrupted him.- I don't want to hear all that. We both know it's bullshit. You hate me. You made it clear that I mean nothing to you or this pack. I'm sorry I disobeyed you in front of others, I'll try not to do that again and I won't tell anyone we're mates. Is that it? Is that all you wanted to talk about?- I asked trying not to show how devastated I felt.

He looked taken aback. He stared into my eyes for a couple of seconds. He didn't look angry anymore. Now he almost looked sad.

- I don't hate you. I can't.

I'm so done with him. That's not how you treat people. Does he think his sad eyes make the way he has treated me okay? I've been tortured all my life, my parents, those rogues... No, I deserve to be happy and loved, and he does not look capable of either.

- I'm tired, and I have a lot of cleaning up to do, so can I go, or do you have something else you want to tell me.- I asked with my face stone cold.

- You can go.- he let go of my hand.
